    Default China turning green ?

    actually, it's more like turning brown ... but there is now Chinese concern that next year's Olympic coverage will wind up showing the rest of the world just how bad China's de-facto total disregard for emission / pollution controls has affected their environment.

    PS there is also some fairly strong allusion to the fact that 'carbon credits' being purchased by Europeans in exchange for carbon emission reductions taking place in China are pretty much just a scam, with absolutely no verification of Chinese emission reductions actually taking place ...
