Hi! I would love to know how you guys get that silky skin? i don't know why but I have a lot of clogged poors, well ingrown hairs I guess on the back of my arms and legs, like little bumps and I hate it! cause then I like to pick at them and then I get a scar SO how do you maintain a pretty and silky skin?

    THANK YOU!

^^^Yep. I put lotion on immediately after I shower, and then again at night before bed. And I exfoliate with a sugar scrub (I love love love bath and body works sugar scrubs) once or twice a week. I am a big fan of bath and body works and I use their lotions and creams most of the time. I also use shea butter (thats what I put on at night).

I wash my skin and shave with a moisturizing shampoo. I only moisturize after I exfoliate and when tanning. I do try to do to spray tan more than tanning though. I exfoliate with the gloves. That is a great method for before fake tanning b/c it doesn't add moisture to your skin. I make sure to hit the rough spots (feet for me) everyday. Regular pedicures help with that at a salon or diy. I like to make homade concoctions for my face with advice from the net.

This sounds like keratosis pilaris - there's a fairly recent thread on it in this forum.

Well for my skin specifically, I avoid over exfoliation (I use an exfoliant maybe twice a week), avoid the sun without sunblock at all times, I also use olive oil in my bath on occasion. I love me some Aveeno Positively Smooth lotion and Creative Sensations Birch & Mint lotion, also.

You know Minette you might be right... it's like I have goose bumps all the time but I'm not cold.

This is why I can't shave cause forget it! See there are so many reasons I can't be a dancer! ugh the belly, bad skin, damn it!

The main thing I do for my skin is drinking lots of water and eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. And of course, wearing sunscreen and being careful about that. All the moisturizer in the world won't help you if you aren't healthy on the inside.

I take supplement oils and use one of those rough scrubby mitts to exfoliate. Also, I use an epilator so now I don't get stubble. Water is so important too.

I have been putting on lotion like a maniac and I went tanning yesterday cause I haven't in 2 yrs so I wanted a bit of color plus it looks nice when I have some color.

I will be drinking more water and I am eatting an apple, I have a horrible diet

I'll be going to FL and I prob will see some family so if they see me pale they will be like "OMG you sick or something?" no it's just the winter does that
