    Default feeling too skinny

I'm 5'2 and my frame is rather tiny. I think i weigh between 95-100 lbs.
I know this sound really under weight but if i weighed more 107 and up it would actually be very over weight for me.

In these past few weeks i have been dancing more days a week, and i lost the unhealthy pudge(sp?) I hadfrom a miscairried pregnancy a year ago. But now that my muscle are becoming more cut from wearing those heals and doing pole tricks. and being so small as it is, i really dont want to lose inches of fat but rather replace them with a little more muscle. i am trying to figure out how to build more muscle quickly. for a small skinny girl i have curves, but i dont wanna look to skinny while waiting for my muscles to tone and look bigger. I eat healthy and i am vegetarian so eating meat to bulk up just isnt an option. are the any supplements or vitimin that can help out with this?

Try a weight-gaining protein shake like Muscle Milk or similar. Count your calories and make sure you're eating slightly more than the calories you burn (about 150 calories per day to start). Cut the number of cardio sessions you currently do in half. When you lift weights, you should also lift heavy and no more than 12 reps. If you don't lift weights, start.

Eat more often, integrate lot's of extra protein into your diet (shakes).

You could also try a weight gaining shake.

Load up on protein, esp before work. Protein sjakes are your friend, I prefer the Myoplex. A little bit of weight training wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

I'm thin too, 5'7" and 110-113 lbs, been this way for years. I eat everything imaginable and cannot gain weight.

You're burning a lot of cals dancing and building muscle doing pole tricks- so you need to replace all that. Don't be afraid to eat some good carbs to give you energy. Fruit for breakfast is good.

Weight training is your best option. I use free weights and do lunges, step and all kinds of arm exercises with them.

I'm 5ft2in and 100lbs., too. I work out alot, and I try to eat little meals throughout the day. I got really skinny last summer, to the point that it looked bad, but when I started working out all the time I gained a ton of muscle and it looks good on me.

I started a thread on this a while back...there is some kind of vitamin supplement pill you take and it is supossed to make your appetite bigger so you eat more. I'm going to order them soon. They're called Weight Gain plus or something....google it.

You can increase your calories quite easily without damaging your health and eating unhealthy foods.

Try nuts, peanut butter, 100% fruit juices, dried fruit, etc.
