    Default My First Audition Hopefully

    Hi everyone

Monday night is going to be my first night to go to the club to see if I can audition.I know it is going to be a slow night but I have the next day off from my other job. The club is Artery's Angels in Pensacola FL and I have been to the club a couple of times with friends. I have grown up dancing an ice skating so hopefully I can pick up on things quickly. I have no idea what to expect and i know I am going to be nervous. I have been reading up on everything I can. I am really scared about the three set songs I don't know when to go to the floor work. If anyone has any tips for me please let me know. I would really appreciate it. All of you seem really awesome with your posts.

I think the best thing (and probably the hardest) thing to do is relax. I just had my audition a couple days ago, and even though i was comfortable dancing naked, right before going on stage i was shaking! Ive never been that nervous in my life! Everybody will tell you to have fun, and even though i didn't really get it when they were telling me, i understand now. you want to have fun with it b/c although youre there to be sexy, the guys want to think that this is something you enjoy doing. If you're having fun, it'll show on your face, and they like that. I'm not a pro just yet, but thats what i learned after my audition. Good luck w/yours! =)

As far as the ice skating past goes, try to keep that grace you've learned from doing it, but slow it down and make it less stiff. Also, if you slow everything down, it'll make the long 3 song set go by faster and make you less tired.
