    Default Sad day..

    I just found out a few hours ago that one of my best friends growing up mother died. Her mom was like a mom to me growing up... she used to drive me to riding lessons, horse shows, clinics and just wherever. She was always happy to host sleep overs for us and drive us to shows at insanely early hours of the morning.

    She has been battling breast cancer for years and Yesterday(Sunday) morning she passed away in her sleep between 5 and 6 am. I was told it was peaceful...

    I am flying back home this week to be there for my friend and attend the funeral and to say goodbye to one of the warmest kindest people i've known.

    RIP Mrs W.. I know your in a better place with no more pain and watching over D and the rest of us trouble makers.

    So sorry to hear, Cally! At least it was peaceful. And it's so good that you can be there to support your friend! {{hugs}}

    I'm so sorry! Atleast it was quick and peaceful. Best of luck for these next few weeks of grieving.

    Aww, sorry Cally. My prayers for you, your friend, and her family. You're a good friend to go back and offer support. It's probably appreciated more than you'll ever know.

    *Big Hugs*

    My condolences to you and your friend. There doesn't need to be a blood relation to be family.

    There's truly not enough real mothers for everyone who needs one. Be glad you knew her. I'll be thinking of you and your friends.
