Default Vitamins that are easy to swallow

I get so much great advice on this board I hate swallowning horse pills (huge pills). I don't mind larege liqua-gels or capsules, but hard tablets that are huge...scare me!!

Can anyone recommend a multi-vitamin, preferably made for women but not necessary, that comes in a liqua-gel or capsule form? Or it could be a pill, but a small one?

It's usually the multi-vit or B-comlex that hard for me to handle. I start thinking that I'm going to be one of these people who choke when nobody is home

I also really don't like talking big pills. I take Walgreens Multiple Vitamins with Iron.
They're pills, but the circumference is just a little bigger than that of a pencil eraser.
My doctor also told me that, if I ever can't find them, I should just get the Flintstones ones and swallow them whole, as they'd still be smaller than those huge horse pills.

Isn't there some vitamins out now that are in liquid form?

I take Flintstone chewables and a folic acid supplement. Sometimes I take a few coral calcium pills if I don't get a lot of calcium in my diet. I know I'll probably get flamed because I'm pregnant and everyone swears by the prenatals but I just can't swallow them. I tried cutting them up in quarters but I could taste it and then I would gag/choke.
Anyway if you read the nutrition facts or whatever on the back of the label of Flintstone's, it's (lo and behold!) the same thing as a normal adult vitamin.

^Oh Alexa! That Diddy/Bjork combo knocked me off my f(&king chair!!

Thanks for the advice. I have taken Walgreens' before. I think One-a-Day makes some easy to swallow stuff.

Why are those horse pills so necessary??

Update: Alexxa, sorry for misspelled name.

Well I have been honest with my midwife about my rebellious vitamin usage (lol) and she didn't seem to think there was a problem as long as I am eating a good diet also. The truth is, the baby is going to take what she needs from me anyway and I am the only one in the situation who benefits from the vitamins.
I think vitamins are generally unnecessary unless you're not eating well or you have an imbalance. Your body flushes out any excess anyway.
If you don't want to do the chewables, look into those shakes they sell with the vitamins in them. They also have those vitamin packs you can dump in your bottled water, or get a smoothie with a vitamin boost from Jamba Juice or Robeks. Sometimes I get a double wheatgrass shot with it. There are a ton of ways to get extra nutrients.

Centrum makes a chewable formula for adults, they taste like the flintstones ones to me. I have a hard time with pills as well, so I take these. Oscal makes a chewable calcium formula, and I take emergen-c when I need extra vitamin C (powder that you pour in water).

I like Vitamin water a lot, even though its not complete. They're a good way to get extra nutrition, and you can pick the kind that you think would benefit you most.

I could not swallow those awful pills when I was pregnant and the dco also told me to take 2 flintsone's vitamins- so you're good.
