    Working During Festivities???

I was just wondering with all you beautiful women's experiences in this biz...do you gals like to work during Holiday Festivities? When I was a bartender it was a sure thing I was going to make $$$ cuz everyone was going to come out drinking and I was making drinks and getting tipped all night. But dancing is a WHOLE other ballgame! The crappiest night I ever had (since b4 I 1st started) was this New Years Eve. Everyone was tipping onstage but it was like pulling teeth to get people to buy dances. We also had Fiesta here in San Antonio the last 2 weeks and most of the people that were in the clubs were tourists, couples, and other people that don't frequent our environment. On most nights I was just stared and gawked at all night like, "Oh wow...look....SHE'S A STRIPPER!" I felt like a museum artifact! It was frustrating...people were literally almost there to get a free peep show cuz they had never been to a titty bar before! I had to literally search for hidden men sitting in the dark corners to make my money! Having said all this, I decided not to go in on Saturday night (Cinco De Mayo) for the same reasons as all of the above. I just like it when things are normal and people go in there because they want to spend money, need company, and genuinely want to see tits and ass....I didn't feel like "pleasing a crowd of people that don't normally go to a SC!!!" Do you ladies avoid these nights as well or find them worth it or the total opposite!?

I first read that as: work during festivus.
    Made me cry a little.
I found that over Christmas, the period not the day, there was a lot of hype about earning potential, but that was all it was, hype.

i found that family holidays: Christmas, Easter, etc...were usually good. Lonely guys who wanted to connect with someone.

Drinking holidays: NYE, St pattys day, etc... were crap for money. Drunk ass fucktards out to cause trouble

For me it depends on the city/place where I am dancing whether a holiday will be lucrative or not.

For instance, Easter was crap-tastic in Darwin whereas it can be better elsewhere (because people are holiday-ing at these other places due to Easter) like Cairns.

Other times drinking holidays can be decent... St Pattys wasn't that bad for me back home here. I don't know how it faired for other cities.

Honestly, I judge it by where I am currently working and the history the holiday has with the city... whether that city is a city full of drinkers than families as such.

If I do bother going to work during holidays I mainly go to party myself and if I make any money that's a bonus. I don't drink much at work (well, I just don't drink much) so the few holidays I do work I'm out to party. Like May 1st and Halloween.

This really depends on the area. In some areas I've done really well on those party holiday weekends, and in others I've done really shitty. Phoenix is generally a place where working those party weekends sucks because most our normal customers are out partying at the regular bars and not in our clubs buying dances. I've done well on Mother's Day (of all days) but never so hot at Thanksgiving or Christmastime - usually too many girls spreading the custies too thin.
