    Default Clover Sprouts

I bought some of this stuff to put in salads. it was in the "organic" section of my grocery store. They look quite similar to alfalfa sprouts.

Has anyone tried them? Reason I am asking was because there was no experation date on the box. Does anyone know how long they last? I tossed them after a week because there was sort of a "dead leaf" scent going on. But they didn't look bad or wilted.

Huh... dunno about that. The only experience I have with clover is using the flowers from red clover to help against colds.

I'm gonna have to look into this.

Well it seems as though there are some dangers with them. Uh oh.

Since they're often compared to alfalfa sprouts, I'd treat them the same way. They keep for about a week if kept away from moisture.

You know....I think I do remember hearing about this stuff a while back.

I became inspired when I was snowboarding in the mountains a couple of weeks ago. Went to a "Pita Pit", sort of a healthy Subway , but falafel style sandwhiches. They had like an assembly line of food/condiments you can put on our pita.

They had sprouts...contained in that area. Maybe it was refregerated. Don't know for sure.

I don't think I feel like having to cook my vegetables.

    Great work, Paige

Never seen those in the supermarket so I've never had the chance to try, but I'm sure they're really healthy for you as all sprouts are. I like alfalfa in sandwich wraps and soybean sprouts in stir fries!
