Another wanna be dancer in Phoenix. They can't handle any more girls. That said, being new in the business and not white, you should just get your feet wet ANYWHERE that will hire you, and then take it from there.

Hit your Westside clubs like BabyDolls, Teasers, Mustang Sallys, Eve's Tease, Le Girls on I-17, Bliss, Sinn, Pantera, Bush Company. One of these clubs WILL hire you.

You've got to get your license first at City Hall, 10th floor. It only costs $25 and takes about 10 minutes. Take your SS card and DL/ID card with you.

Forget about Christie's, Hi-Liter, Bombshells, Bourbon Street, and the clubs like that that the experienced white girls apply at.

Follow the old rule of thumb. GET HIRED ANYWHERE THAT WILL HIRE YOU, learn how to work the floor and sell dances, and then take it from there. I recommend going to the gym 3-4 days a week to have your body in it's best shape to compete for better clubs. You're in a VERY competitive market. They don't need you or any dancer, so always look and keep your body at it's best. Eventually you may choose to move on to different clubs.

I dunno, mulatto is different. Exotic. Easier to get hired than "other" WOC I should think. HL has a few.

If you want to post a pic, when you start to reply in this thread, click the "Go Advanced" button. That will take you to another page - Scroll down and click "Manage Attachments" button. That will open a popup where you can upload your pic and it will post with your reply. In that popup, you'll have to select the pic file then click "Upload". Then close the window, type your message text in the box and hit "Submit Reply". That should do it. Any trouble let us know.

Hehe. I cringe at the thought of more new girls here, but we can't (and wouldn't want to) keep them all out. We do need some fresh meat sometimes and after PMing with OP she seems to have a good head on. We're overrun with girls and need to do some weeding, but I still welcome good newbie meat too And honestly, I think we could use a few more WOC, moreso than more new white chics.

I would discourage newbies from starting during summer because it's really slow and hard to make money, hard enough for the experienced girls. I'm thinking if you're not really confident, starting out under those conditions might be too rough on the self-esteem. It's much easier if you can go in and start making a little money right away, builds your confidence.

As for where to start, you just have to go get hired at a few places and see what you like best. If you were over 21 I'd say go check out a few clubs as a customer to get a feel for them, but as a youngun you'll just have to bite the bullet and go work to check them out.

HL often turns newbies away, saying they need to go to a smaller club to get experience. That's really not bad advice because even some experienced girls get overwhelmed there. Although I've seen some little younguns come in and rock the place too. If you're SUPER confident as a newbie you'll do well.

Don't forget places like CandyStore (they still have $5 dances on the main floor there but the girls stay busy and they ALL say it's easy money. There's also Centerfold's, Sonny's in Chandler, Bombshells, Penthouse....lots of clubs here to choose from.

There aren't really too many WOC at Christies in Phoenix, you might want to try it out there.

    * I'm pretty sure Sinn would hire you, and theres money to be made there. Sinn gets a lot of good spending customers. Buuuuut, this club comes with a disclaimer: At least half the customers will try to suck on your tits and finger you, and they aren't subtle about it. A lot of Sinn customers are also regulars of Bombshells and Centerfolds, but something tells me they don't behave this way at those clubs. Sinn used to be ghetto girl central, and they had a lot of girls willing to do nasty shit. Though the new owner managed to fire a lot of those girls, the reputation still lingers. So I think customers come in expecting more.

This doesn't mean you're gonna get raped, or that you won't be able to sell dances! It just means you'll be giving warnings and prying hands off, since theres only so much the bouncers can see at a single time due to the set up. A lot of the guys will respect that you're saying no and will still buy multiple dances from you. You just have to stand your ground at this place - in a way thats firm, but friendly. If you don't mind that and can do this, you'll be ok. This is NOT the place for a shy, passive girl to work at!!!

Nights have been pretty slow lately (basketball season doesn't help), but days have been busy as hell, and attract a lot of white collar businessmen. Sinn is very accomodating of new dancers, they've hired 2 in the past month alone. Theres all kinds of dancers here, of all races.

    * Avoid BandAids. This is traditionally a club that loves WOC and WOC usually do very well here. But the business there has been dead lately; as in 30 girls on the floor and 2 spending customers dead. I'm told their sister club Pantera does good business at night though. BandAids, Pantera, and the HiLiter are all owned by the same company, btw.

    * I'm acquainted with a few gals who work at BabyDolls, who say the bulk of their money comes from homeboys making it rain during their stage shows; it's not a club where many lap dances are sold. So based on that it probobly isn't a good place for a new girl to start.

I'm not saying any of this to discurage you, just to be honest. You're very pretty and I'm sure getting hired will be easy for you.

^We ARE overrun with girls here. Hence the discussions in the "that bitch" thread in stripping general.

Winter, several clubs around here will definitely hire you. Of the clubs that are more WOC-friendly, HL will be toughest to get into for a newbie. If you show up all done-up with sexy outfit, hair and makeup, you've got a good shot. You're a pretty girl. They tend to be harder on newbies so pleeeeeeaaase don't be discouraged IF they turn you away at first. It just means you need to go get some experience, maybe tighten up a tad, and come back later.

I do mean this in the best way because you ARE a pretty girl. I would take a couple months and tighten up a little before trying for HL. You are better-looking than many of the girls who work there now, but as I said they are tougher on newbies AND pretty much all mixed clubs tend to hold WOC to higher standards. Unfair, but we're not gonna change it anytime soon. If you really feel you want to jump in sooner I would go to a smaller club to gain experience, and dancing will help tighten up that tiny bit of babyfat Working out a couple extra times per week and cutting back on the carbs will have you super smokin hot in no time!!

^Dude. I feel crappy even saying that. I can think of at least 5 regular girls at HL who have much more to work on than you do body-wise, but they've been there for years and make money so no one's gonna get rid of them yet. And they're white. I hate even advising a young WOC that she might need to look hotter than a white girl would in order to get hired at any club, but that's just one of the many shitty things about this business that we all have to toughen up to. bleh. I kinda feel like I need to wash my mouth out or something

I'm REALLY retarded....what's WOC? At first I thought it was White Only Clubs, but that doesn't make sense in Winter's first post.

She's more toned than several girls at HL for sure. That doesn't mean they'll hire her as-is, especially being a newbie WOC. I still think she's got a pretty good chance there, but it'd be a whole lot better if she got some experience and tightened up a little

And I just can't help reiterating this. That very small amount of tummy I'm seeing in the pic would not be a problem for an experienced girl to get hired at HL. And hell, maybe it's a bad pic - it does look like the lil tummy could be getting shadowed to make it look like more than it is. But even if that's a totally accurate pic, that little tummy isn't enough to stop most girls getting hired at most clubs, including HL. Could I be anymore on the fence here? LOL!!

The point is, she's a good-looking girl who has potential to do very well but just a little tightening up would put her over the top. And I mean this in the positive way, not in the "yer not quite good 'nuff huuunneeyy" way

It just scares me that that tiny tiny tiny tiny bit of tummy(fuck I dont even really see it) can cause a girl not to get hired just cuz shes a WOC... shes fuckin hot lol... and yet im supposed to be a 'feature' and im soft in the tummy... but I know what you're saying B...

Life isnt fair ya know that?

Yes Cally, that's why I wrote in the previous post that saying that made me feel like I needed to wash my mouth out or something. And I'm also considering that the small (I'm emphasizing small because it's SMALL) tummy I see in the pic is quite possibly exaggerated by the lighting/shadow. You can see how it's shadowed, and that tends to distort things in photos.

I agree she's a hottie with mucho potential and I think I've already said that enough

Smaller clubs would be Pantera, Bombshells, Sonny's in Chandler (dunno where you live so I'm all over the map), Teasers, CandyStore....there's a ton. If I were you I'd seriously go get hired at several or all I could, work a week or two at each and then stick with the one I liked best.

Bombshells might not be a bad choice... I dont know how WOC do there.. but when I was still a fairly newb dancer I did pretty good there on day shift and I worked with a few other WOC newbies who seemed to do okay... I dont for sure as I dont really pay attention to how much business other girls get.. but yea the staff and dancers there are awesome and its a smaller locals bar feeling and they(customers) love new girls.

I actually like Centerfolds better than HL and the only reason I don't work there is it's just too far to drive. Payouts are lower, stage and dressing rooms (yes TWO dressing rooms) are muuuuuuuuccchhh nicer, and clientele is similar, but they have fewer girls than HL AND better VIP/CR setups. The manager is weird about hiring - apparently they really try to keep the number of girls down, which is a good thing for those who work there.

But then again don't you girls deal with this sort of thing anywhere you work??.....its worth checking out though thanks.

Im surprised to hear that about band-aids I had actually heard that the girls there make alot of money.

I don't think you have the odds stacked against you at all! You're DROP DEAD GORGEOUS and thats a big selling point! You WILL get hired. And you have a look that will appeal to many customers I think.

BandAids is traditionally very hit or miss, but lately it's been more miss than hit. It's a very WOC friendly club - black and hispanic women own that dance floor.... when the $ is there. But it's also a very, very small club with a lot of dancers for it's size, and they keep hiring more girls. That coupled with the slow customer flow lately means theres a lot more competition. Without regular customers (which you can only establish after working the club for a while), it's tougher to make a buck.

I'm sure the grabby guys are at all clubs, you're right. It's just that Sinn is known for the (at least attempted) higher contact. If you can keep 'em in line without letting it get to you, you'll be ok and will still make good $. But if it's something that could be emotionally damaging to you then I advise against working there.

I haven't danced at Bombshells or Centerfolds, but they sound like good options and have better reputations. If they're newbie friendly you should definately give those a shot.

When you want to quote something someone said, hit the "quote" button that's at the top-right side of their post. That will open a reply page with their quote already in the box. You can delete the parts of what they said and just leave in the part you want to quote. Be sure to leave the [quote] tags in or it won't work.

Babydolls is not a place I'd ever recommend to a girl looking to dance. My good friend regularly walks out on Friday's with $115, and she's a top earner. I've heard great things about Centerfolds, and HiLiter.

I've always worked Thursday nights there (for some reason I just like Thursdays). Other nights I wing it.

I just got hired at Bombshells though (thanks to Exotic Engineer for the recomendation!), so things may change soon. I'm very impressed with Bombshells! It's a pretty small club and doesn't look like much from the outside, but is soooo nice inside! The staff and dancers were super cool, and customers are nowhere near as grabby as they are at Sinn. It's a very classy and positive place to work I think. I was there in the day, during a slow spell, but still managed to make $. I'm told it gets really good at night.

One of the dancers I met has only been dancing for 1 week, so I know they're new girl friendly.
