Say that you have a kid, even if you don't. It shuts them down. You can't possibly go out with someone who, although interests and arouses you, don't know very well. You have to think of your child and you want to be a good mother. Because that's why you're stripping: To provide a better life for your baby. No, you can't go to breakfast because your child needs to get ready for school.

Oh god, it works. It doesn't fuck with my money. Hell, it increased it. The focus goes back to the dancing and the sweet escape you and the customer have in the club.

And all men want a woman to save. Who better than a hard-working single mother? They get to be a knight in shining armor spending all that money for you and your family, helping you to buy warm blankets and milk.

That's sooooo funny you started this thread because I just started using that hustle technique. The other night while I was dancing out in the main room this guy kept on trying to get grabby with me and wouldn't stop but I needed to keep doing more dances because I hadn't made shit that night. I kept saying see that floorman over there (Bob) he's got eyes in the back of his head and the sides of his head too, he sees everything. Then the customer said "Oh, he won't see, he's not watching, look he's talking to that guy". So then I said "I can't take that risk at all and get fired, I have a little girl at home who's 3 yrs old and of course I don't get any child support from her father. Now you don't want me to get fired now do you? If I got fired then my baby won't eat, won't have diapers, won't have a home to live in." He totally bought it and actually sat on his hands and didn't touch for the remainder of the dances and tipped me also! I made him feel so guilty that if he got me fired he'd be the one responsible for hurting my innocent little girl. Haha, I don't even have a kid so I'm going to use that all the time now.

Customers have always asked me if I have any kids or if I've ever been married and I've been honest with them and told them no. I know have a 3 yr old little girl who looks just like her mom and also takes after her mom in her personality and her name is Avery! I totally think that makes them want to help you out more, especially when you say that you're not getting child support and this job is your only source of income.

It may seem a little evil to some people, it even may seem like the "cry me a river" hustle but who gives a damn, if it keeps them from grabbing on me, if it helps give me an excuse why I can't see them after we close (you know because I want to just so bad ) then I think it's perfect. I used that on a guy in VIP once a long time ago and he stayed with me for like 3 hours and tipped me very well and did pester me a lot to go back to his hotel room and I said to him "Oh, I'm sorry I can't, I have a little girl at home with the babysitter that can't wait to give her mommy a hug & kiss" He bought it!

I am going to have to try that one even though I don't have children. Thanks.
God, grant me the senility, to forget the people I never liked anyway,
The good fortune to run into the ones that I do,
And the eyesight to know the difference.

Yep. I use that alot. It's not the same as a cry me a river hustle. I make sure not to use it as that, because I would never use my daughter like that. But it does get guys to behave better and stop asking you out also. I work in a club where most of the clientelle is older, so often times it's something they can relate to and they may like you better. I use this especially once I'm already in VIP. Alot of the time, it strikes up a convo about the guy's kids and stuff. I waste some time, then go back to dancing. Then, they like you better as a person and seem more apt to tip. But make sure you don't turn it into a pity party for you as a couple of girls I work with do. They make money from it, but it just seems wrong to me......

I have a kid so I don't even have to lie but I don't tell them I am married.
It works everytime: The poor girl from Brazil single mother story lol.
If they want to take me on a date I always say I have to think of my child first and I can date someone just for fun because I want a serious relationship and a father for my child. That scares them off, big time. Also it makes guys spend a lot of money some become regular and bring toys to the club. One guy spent 300 bucks on the Tickle me Elmo for X-mas(the one that was vanished from stores and I told him my son wanted).

This is brilliant. I think I'd only use it under dire circumstances, but in those cases, Mr. Grabby doesn't need to know that my beloved 4 year old girl is feline.

Actually, I have used her in these situations.

Customer: "Where are you going after this? We could have a lot of fun together.. we should finish this dance outside the club.."
Me: "I don't think my cat would like that."

Sometimes they laugh and shut up. Most of them don't get the gentle hint, though.

Ha ha ha I do the same thing. My little "girl" is named "isabella" (not a name I am even fond of just the name that I blurted out once and had to stick with it) I came up with a pretend child, it really does work. xoxo

    I love it.

Actually it's true, too. My kitty Petrushka would be uber-cranky if some strange guy came home and invaded her domain, lol.

I saw this excuse working for a friend of mine...a few actually. I can't wait to use it too.
I used to say my girlfriend would be upset, but the kid thing is so much better. What asshole is gonna argue with that?

Wow, I've definately got to try this out... I don't have a kid and I've NEVER said that I do... So I'm kinda paranoid that it's going to sound like a lie!

Fucking hilarious. Certain meathead types won't get this, though. I have used an imaginary kid as an excuse a few times in the past...in fact, I did it the other night. Amazingly, the guy KEPT begging me to come "party" with him and his friends after work.

Me: Sorry, I have to go home. My little girl's asleep and my babysitter's waiting up.
    Him: So what?
    Me: Uh...

My "little girl" is a cranky half-siamese and I happen to be engaged to her babysitter, but still...what a jerk.

I also use this excuse for why I can't give out my phone #. I'll say, "I never give out my number because I have a son who sometimes answers my phone." This is actually true, though I wouldn't give my number out anyway. 9 times out of 10 this has worked for me.

One question stray- how does this work for regulars? Is it still possible to get (and keep) them when they think you have a kid? I live in a city that's not as lucrative for dancers as others, so regs make all the difference. A couple good regulars can double your income! but ofcourse, they always want to take it OTC...will this line scare them off?

The regulars that I do have, know that I have a kid. It hasn't affected them in any way that I've really noticed. Atleast not badly. They ask me about my daughter and how she's doing when they're in. They even talk about their kids some. But other than that...... nope. Then again, I don't have the "I'm in love with you" regulars either.....

For some reason, it's a question I get right off the bat sometimes (Do I LOOK like I have a kid or something? lol) maybe they're just looking for "flaws". I'm always honest about it not wanting them to move onto another stripper that 'doesn't' have kids...but yea this is a great thread, but the key here is being upfront! They can ask, you say no, then be all grabby. Def going to say yes from now on if they ask, try it for a lil while.

I do have a kid and I am married. But I use a sob story that Im a single mom, etc, and it really does increase the money sometimes! I do not tell my real name or my child's though...and it does get the guys to back off when wanting to get grabby or take you home.

Hehehe, oldie of a thread, but good!

I use this all the time, since I do in fact have a kid...but one night after a guy was begging me to come hang out with him after work I said I really can't I have a kiddo at home, he says "Yah, so do I!" As if...he meant...so what, we both have kids, still come jump my bones. Huh?

I was confused, but instead I said "Oh, so you totally get where I'm coming from then, cool...so I'll see ya the next time you come to the club."

    Buh bye!
