    Problems with treasure chest shoes???

I've had these shoes for a few months now and I can't stand to ever wear them because they hurt the balls of my feet (where the compartment is.) Does anyone have this issue with these shoes? I don't know what I can do or put on them to make them tolerable to wear! Any ideas?

I guess they hurt because they're hollow so there's not alot of support. I say there's not much you can do about that besides get the gel sole things.

I was afraid of those things myself because to use the opening that part of the shoe has to be hollow. That leaves a serious lack of support AND not a good way to use a gel insert. I have to superglue my gel inserts into my shoes to keep them from sliding out as I walk/dance. So that kinda defeats the purpose of having the opening.

If you just want to stick something decorative and unique in them and LEAVE it there permanently, you could glue in a gel insert and that should make them tolerable to wear.

Stuff them with newspaper (if not they're opaque) or colored cellophane (if clear). I stuffed mine - I mean really packed it in there - and got three more months out of them after the little top thing started to fall in.

I hated those shoes, I just went back to my regular pleasers after mistakingly ordering those treasure chests. I'd say there is not much you can do but get other shoes.

I don't know. I wear the ones with the tip slot, and they seemed ok until I got my pedicure last week and they took off too much of my callous. Now they're painful. I'd say, unless you have tough skin on the bottom of your feet, they're a no. I think it's just the shape though, not the empty compartment. I find that the weight is put on a different area of my foot with these than my normal shoes. I've been switching about halfway through the night if I don't have VIPs.
