Default Tried a Cabaret style show

And holy fuck! It went over really well with the old crowd AND the young guys! I`ve had more compliments tonight on my new show than any other one I have done.

I wanted to try something really far-out there for something different. So I pulled out this beautiful black strapless gown that is all sparkley...paired it up with some faux diamond earings and necklace, along with elbow length black gloves....and topped it off with a black feather boa.

My set was: Diamonds are a Girl`s Best Friend(Moulan Rouge version)
The Lady is a Tramp(Frank Sinatra)
Dream a Little Dream Of Me(Beautiful South...Dean Martin cover)

The crowd was wild with excitement, and I banked bigtime! The young guys suprised me the most with how much they liked it. The owners(mangers) LOVED the idea, and were asking me to do an extra show! The owner(manager) himself tipped me! I am so doing more of this stuff in my club!

...what astonishes me, is that my club is somewhat of a dive. As much as I love it there, I really didn`t think this would fly here!

Okay, I was just excited and I had to share it with you girls!

I've said it probably thousands of times and I'll say it again: A classy, more demure/coy, less revealing look gets the guys' interest MUCH better than putting everything out there for them to see right off the bat

That kind of theme, done well, will always be enjoyed by the audience - glad it worked so well for you! I'm betting you did a really good job with it, to get such a great response

Well done! You'd be suprised whay guys go for and where the appreciate it! I used to put on cabaret style shows in a club that wasn't exactly upscale but always went down a storm and really got the crowd paying attention and spending!

Try some slinky jazz/ lounge numbers... if you like the Moulin Rouge soundtrack try doing a flamenco style dance to Roxanne (i love that track!), use a fan, let your hair down.

Have fun with it - putting on a show makes you feel great and everyone vibes off it.

^^Oooo, good idea! I can't wait to go to work tonight and do it again! I am downloading some Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin....the classic Rat Pack! I'll get some Moulin Rouge and I was also thinking of the soundtrack Chicago might work too.

Sinders - you are a gal after my own heart!

Try Nasty Naughty Boy from Christina Aguilera's Back To Basic's album for a more modern cabaret number... also,
Find a version of 'Fever' you like, by Peggy Lee or Julie London or whoever, or Love For Sale, which is another very sexy female number.

Fantastic!! I worked in dives too and the themed shows always went over well.

So glad you enjoyed yourself and made money as well!
