    Default Prepare for the slump!

This is a reminder to work as much as you now can because starting Memorial Day weekend club traffic will take a big dip. We all know Mem Day will suck as well as the rest of that week. (The week after a holiday tends to blow balls.) After that, every dancer will be in the club trying to scrape up rent. What does this mean to you? Less than stellar earnings for 2 weeks. Work and save now to avoid the headache of having no money later.

I am already seeing a dip On Saturday only about 2 girls at my club broke 100$ and I didn't even sell one dance! The managers said it was the worst sat. they had seen in 12 years.

Thx for the reminder! I had my worst Saturday ever last night AND I was happy and in a great mood. If there had been more people/bigger spenders, I would've killed it. But all those guys with money sure as fuck aren't here.

Hmmm.... I've worked on two Memorial Day weeks (two different years). One was average and the other was a little below average. I wouldn't count it out completely. I think alot of guys get bored of the usual Memorial Day activities and want to spice up their evenings with friends or other male family members. Also, the weather plays a role in how the week will go. Keep Positive!

while there is a definite element of seasonality with southern state clubs dropping off during summer months while northern state clubs pick up, this year I'm not so sure that the 'slump' is only a seasonal adjustment. Arguably, the entire US economy is taking a downturn which is affecting customer attendance and spending levels at all clubs. See the 'Too Many Girls' thread at .

LOL, Saturday was my worst night ever, too...and it was my first night in a new club. I chronicled the nightmare in Club Chat...it was just...wow. I left with $280, and what I had to put up with to even make that was outrageous. (And it won't happen again. The next time some unlucky stupid bastard tries to bite any part of my body, I will kick him in the face without giving a shit about being fired.)

Thanks for reminding me. I was trying to keep my head in the sand.Unfortunately there has been no money for me to save for awhile.

Around here, May through September is the absolute best time of the year. The Indy 500 is Memorial Day weekend and that brings crowds from now until then. And after that we have a couple of other big races this summer. We also see tons of bachelor parties and warm weather happy partiers.

I had a great week last week and this one has also started with a bang. Yay for that.

Yup. Look out, Andygirl, I'm headed to Indiana! Seriously, in Texas -- where we've been having 90 degree days already -- the slowdown isn't just coming...it's here. The last couple of weeks have just been...sad. I'm so glad I've got vacation planned for June!

My club does alright during the summer. The slow time for us is November/December. Other than that, money is pretty consistant here.
