I doubt that they'll kill off Tony, I think they'll end it with him out dueling Phil and being in clear control of the mob. I'm also guessing that the Muslims come to him asking for some type of assistance (in some sort of terrorist plot) and Tony rat's them out to the feds thus gaining some type of redemption (at least to him) for all the evil that he has done.
Count me as an 'Entourage' fan too, and when the hell is 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' coming back?
I just want it to be tommorow - going to a Lush party, sushi @ Stingray, then lots of good tv!

Great Sopranos episode tonight, I can't wait until the finale next week.
I can't believe it almost over.
RIP Bobby Bacala!
Wow, what tight episode!! Poor Sil/Little Stevie. They said it doesn't look like he'll regain consciousness, correct? And I always had a soft spot for Bobby, even though he is a killer. He just seems like a sweet cuddly pushover teddibear even when we see him pop a cap in someone's ass.
So...predictions for the final episode?
Oh, and what's up with them killin off my fellow Ukrainians!?!

One thing the creators have always tried to do was make it so that none of the "crew" comes off as heroic when they're working. For last night, that was the reason to have Silvio strangle someone early on, so that everyone's reminded that he's still a villain when he's getting shot.
I also can't believe that they let Phil Leotardo exclude Paulie from the hit list. He's likely to be the last man standing, and his character is the guy most likely to keep the shooting going.

Last nights episode was great!!!! Although I agree, I didnt want to see Bobby die. I suspect, that Tony is going to rat them all out and go into witness protection. But thats just a guess on my part

They are not going to kill off Tony. That ruins all chances for a movie if they decide to do one at a later date. If they kill off Tony, there is no more money in the Sopranos for the future.
I honestly don't know what's gonna happen tho. Can't wait!!
There has been rumors that Paulie is a turncoat and is playing both sides. But then again, Phil might want to keep Paulie around because he'll easily do business with him after the other 3 are dead. Sil and Bobby would be loyal to Tony till the end. But Paulie....he's a punk bitch....

Lets not forget who told Johhny Saks, when someone made a joke about his wife. Paulie will figurein this some how as a turncoat.

POSSIBLE SPOILER IF YOU DIDNT WATCH LAST NIGHT:
I was lackadiasical towards this season til the last 3 episodes.
As a former Jerseysite as well.. I agree with you Melonie on why Tony killed Chris. He would never be able to run a family. Tony had mentioned in previous seasons that he would be stepping out and Chris would be taking over. Right then Tony off'd his oppurtunity out. Also, didn't he mention something about "not wanting to go to jail"? That's something you don't say to a fucking boss!
And once Melfi kicked Tony to the curb, you just know that his time was up. Atleast thats how I felt.
I love how the show has the characters come full circle with things-- someimtes I wish they did with a lot of the plot like--when he shot the Ukraine guy I thought for a second it was the Czechs! Why they never continued that plot (when Paulie and Chris got stuck in the woods with the Czech soldier ((think he was Czech)) kills me! And Employee of the Month (when Melfi gets raped).. what was up with that one?

so i didnt watch sunday's episode til last night, but lemme just say im with all of you in totally liking bobby. i thought he was a big teddy bear and i loved his character, and the sense he spoke to tony. i thought when they had their fight in the beginning of the season that it was a big turning point for bobby, in how he stepped up to tony. i really like sil but i get why he had to go. the imagery in the most recent ep was amazing, like when the FBI agent tells him about the "thing with brooklyn" being back on, they pan to an image shot from an alleyway, of tony in a long black trenchcoat throwing away a sandwich he bought. the image was so powerful imo, tony in black and the street so light, like his depression manifested. but even more powerful was the final image of the episode, tony on a bed clutching an all powerful weapon staring at a door. it was chilling and i cannot WAIT for the final ep. i wanna see phil go DOWN. i dont like him one bit. as for paulie, i dunno, i think he *could* be playing both sides but i dont think so. i thnk he dislikes phil to the max and i am not so sure why phil's crew didnt hit paulie, so maybe im wrong. in any case, that was the best episode all season.
oh and as for tony roughing up his son, well, i think it showed how absolutely out of control tony is as a father to AJ, and how he wants to literally shake the depression out of him. poor AJ.
Love it!

I just watched Sunday's episode and DAMN! I've been racking my brain with theories on what's going to happen. I don't think Tony will die (no way) or become a rat (that would be too disappointing for fans, I think). But Paulie is looking AWFULLY suspicious here, especially with the botched job on Phil. He gave the info and it was wrong. What are the chances that Phil's goomar lived right next to someone that looked almost EXACTLY like him? Plus, Paulie was definitely higher on the food chain than Bobbie by far. It made me awfully suspicious that he was spared.
Did I mention: I can't WAIT till Sunday!!!!!![]()

Did Phil go to that house where the Ukranians were? I totally thought it was definately Phil until the other guy opened the door.
I think there is something to you guys Paulie theory.
Do u guys think Silv will live?
In the last part when Tony was lying in the bed with the huge gun I had to think "fuck living that life".

I think there's a really good chance that Silvio will pull through-otherwise, they would have just have him dead, yanno? I honestly thought he was dead until they said he was in the hospital. He was shot nearly as many times as Bobbie.
Paulie is definitely iffy to me. He seemed to be close with NY and he told John the joke about Jinnie, was unhappy with Tony for quite a while and remember when Tony was contemplating killing him on that yacht for running his mouth so much?
But then again, that could be what they want us to think so we'll be completely surprised at what ends up happening during the finale.

I thought silv was dead too!

They're all going to die at the end.

I have to agree with this assessment ... killing off Tony kills off the franchise. However, that doesn't mean that Tony won't wind up shot full of holes and spending the next 5 years in a coma while the movie is organized !!!They are not going to kill off Tony. That ruins all chances for a movie if they decide to do one at a later date. If they kill off Tony, there is no more money in the Sopranos for the future.
Personally, I suspect that something is going to develop involving AJ ... i.e. seeing his father being hit by the NY mob, grabbing Tony's pistol from his unconscious body, and dropping the hitters. One classic theme to mob stories is the 'baptism of blood' for a new mob figure, and I suspect that some variation on that theme will develop re AJ moving into Chris' shoes as a full fledged mob guy in his own right. What tipped me to this possibility was AJ's abortive attempt to kill his uncle Junior in retaliation after Junior (accidentally ?) shot Tony last year.

^^^A lot of people have been saying that but I just can't see it happening. They've done too much to make A.J. look like a wuss. You would think if he was going to come in at the end as Mr. Mob they would have done SOMETHING to make it seem plausible for his character to do. Honestly, I would think that would be just as much of an abomination of an ending as if Tony turned state's evidence. They would really have to do some fine storytelling for me to buy it!
Tony's doomed. Atleast all signs point to he should die. If they keep him alive, it better be the most phenomenal amazing ending/run on ever or I'm boycotting the fucking movie.
