    Default Canada driving question

So I'm at a light and I'm going to turn left. The arrow turns green, but it's blinking. Is it telling me to turn carefully? Or do the arrows just blink here?

if it's green, solid or blinking, you're good...they turn yellow when it's time to think about not turning left

(i think they blink when it's only for cars going in your direction - ie the turn lane and the lanes going straight, while people going the other way still have a red light)

It's an "Advance Green" and it just means that only the cars in your direction have the green and everyone else still has the red.

    Rather confusing huh??

It is an advancing light..either solid green blinking or an arrow blinking is the signal to turn left.

You can turn right on any color light after you stop unless you are in Montreal..no right on red!!

There are some lights that have a arrow pointing straight ahead...there is no left turn on this arrow.

Have fun in Canada!!! Every Province has different lights and rules!!

It gets more confusing. In BC, a solid blinking green just meets the light is controlled by pedestrians.

OMG the cops here are mean. They woke me up in the middle of the night and made me leave even though there were clearly a bunch of other people in RVs and campers sleeping there. They said I was more suspicious.

I'm gonna keep driving north until people are nice again.
