    Default Change

I usually have, throughout the night, 20's, 50's and 100's in my garter. When a guy tips me for a dance or when I get off stage, I go tip out or cash up my small bills, b/c I hate the bulk.

So, I never really have change on me. And sometimes I do get asked for it. Then, I encourage them to tip, but occassionally I'll have to waste 5 minutes going and getting change. This always happens when I have 5 other people waiting for me, of course....

So, on one hand, I make nice tips b/c mostly when you don't have change, a guy lets you keep it. I'd say I make 40-50 doing this. on the other hand lets say I waste time durring 3 dances every couple of nights..... so I'm loosig 60$.....

Do you girls keep change on you? Why or why not? Do you think it helps or hurts your money?

I think I'm going to start keeping 5's on my garter, I'm sick of the change situation....

I also don't like keeping too much on me. I don't like the guys knowing how much I make anyways. I put it in a safe in my locker unless I don't have time. I'll keep change on me if I don't have time, but if it gets bulky then I go cash it in for bigger bills. I'd say, I try to keep around $16 in ones though. That way when somebody random wants change for a $20 I can say that's all I have. And they're normally fine with it.

I find it helps me. I keep it all right with me, so when a guy asks, I just sit down and start up a conversation. Before you know it, he is buying a lap dance.

I don't carry change. Let's say a guy buys 1 dance for $20. He pays with a $50 and asks if I have change. I check, and say, no sorry, i don't. How bout I just give you another dance and we call it even? Or, I'll say sorry, I only have a $10, how bout I just give you an extra dance and call it even. Either way, I get an eztra dance outta the deal, and most of the time, I get that extra $10 as well.

I carry a small purse. Even though I may unload at my locker I usually have some change on me. I just prefer to have it b/c I work at a high volume for low price dance club. Dances are ten on the floor. If a guy just gets one dance and wants change I just want to give him his change and move on to the next person that is waiving my over. If I have time I will give them their change broken up so that they are sure to tip. Many times when I give them back a ten they hand my a couple dollars from their pocket. People also ask for change on hundreds and I am able to do it. I just like to be fast, and going to the bar is not fast enough for me. One thing I like about my club is that customers do not have to be rich to enter, drink, and get dances. On the floor people ask for change all the time, even though they usually tip as well. In the CR no one asks me for change.

I make "deposits" into my locker everytime I go to the back. Sometimes that's quite often, other times it's hours. So I usually have at least $100 on me, if not 2 or 3.

When it comes to making change for private dances, I don't have a problem with that. If they've gotten two and only have a $50 I will say, "Oh, I don't seem to have a ten in here, would you like to go to the bar and get some change?" This usually ends in the guy giving me the ten rather than walking to the bar, waiting, and then getting a measly bit of change back.

The only time I refuse to give change is on stage or if, for some reason, I'm doing a dance at the table. I've had many a guy give me a $20 on stage and instead of change I've convinced him to use it as a downpayment on his VIP dances. That works very well in my experience.

oh..in that case I smile and just lie to his face. Kinda bitchy, but I hide all my money in my purse, not on my garter or anything, so they dont know one way or the other.

I keep everything in my purse too. If for some reason I don't have change for a larger bill, I take him to the bar with me and usually they tip me for being honest. If not, then I have this strange hope that they will remember and come back for more dances another time. Any time I have offered to do more dances instead of giving change usually ends up badly. If they are asking for change, they are on a budget.

At my club the 'private' dance area is just a long line of couches in the back of the audience. So when I customer gives me a $50 for a $20 dance I just smile real big and say thanks. Then proceed right back to the floor.
If they ask for change as their handing it to me, I make it if I can.

I carry a small purse with me (that I never let out of my sight, so far the purse or no money from it has disappeared). Then I might check the purse and say "sorry I don't have any change" or just pay it up from my purse depending on if he seems like a cheapass that'd make me actually go to the barside to change it for him or if it seems like a guy who'd let me keep the rest. Also if they want 15 back from their 20 I might say "I only have 10 is it OK like that or do you want me to go change it?" and most times I get to keep the extra 5$ too.
