I started tanning again after 5 years of spray or bottle tanning.
The problem is my color starts to fade after 2 days.
I don't want to have lay in a bed every day to maintain it.
Any advice ?

I exfoliate every 7 days, use a professional tanning moisturizer, and use indoor tanning lotions with quadruple bronzers. You may also want to upgrade the bed you're tanning in. Upgraded beds will give you a deeper, more longer-lasting tan.

I am currently in an upgrade, I think I need to use the highest one. I'll try that tomorrow.
I exfoliate a couple times a week but, I don't use a professional tanning moisturizer.
Can you suggest any ?

I definitely think you need a lotion. I like Revival (it has caffeine which is supposed to firm the skin) by Designer Skin. I can go once a week for 20 min in a standard bed and keep my color. Everyone's different though, you just need to find what works for you.

I'm tanning this morning before Bikram. I'll look for the lotion you mentioned.
Thanks.

Using a tanning lotion with bronzer and bronzing moisturizer afterwards seems to be good for me. I also really like Australian Gold Kisses moisturizer...smells really good and lasts all day!
I suggest Fiji Blend-Oracle. I've never seen in sold in salons, I got mine online. But it works great and you'll keep tanning after your session.

Thanks, I'll try looking for it on eBay.

I think you may be exfoliating too much, which can dry your skin out and make it harder for you to hold color. A good bronzer helps me maintain a darker, richer tan. I like "Dark Thrill" by California Tan.

^ Good point. I exfoliated twice yesterday. The Bikram studio I go to has awesome body scrub w/ sugar & lots of oils. My skin feels smooth and moisturized afterwards but, towards the end of the day my skin is super dry !
So, I'm going to take your advice and cut back on exfoliating.
I tried the highest upgrade today, hopefully that makes a difference.

It's also going to take a bit longer for your skin to start holding onto it because you haven't been tanning. I think you'll hold color better once you've been at it for a bit.
