    Default My cartilidge peircing

I've had two peircings in the cartlidge of my ears for like 7 years now. I don't wear jewelry in them much anymore, but the holes havent grown back at all. I tried to put earrings in them yesterday and it got reeeally sore to where I had to take them out. Then one hole started bleeding. They still hurt some. Do I have to use jewelry made out of certain stuff even though I've had the peircings for so long? I can wear anything in my lobe pericings and they don't bother me at all.

I have the same problem.. Basically the hole hasn't closed up entirely but it has gotten smaller.. This means you have to restretch it. Kind of like repiercing it, only this time it's going to stretch instead of adding a hole that wasn't there. Sorry, the pain is part of the process of restretching..
When they were pierced the first time bigger studs were used since as it healed the hole would stay a certain shape around the metal, but since you haven't kept anything in there it has shrunk to a smaller size. If you can find itty bitty studs or hoops you like the pain might be less.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
