Does this actually work?

I doubt it but I dont know for sure.
Retinol A definately does as does IPL therapy.

yea it does, but you have to put it on and lay in the sun for it to work...i remember doing it when i was a young teen.
however, it's not the most effective. if you want over the counter you need to get some age spot fading cream. it must have hydroquinone in it though. you can get it at any drug store.

Why would you want to fade your freckles? They're so cute!

They are cute, depending on the location. I love the ones on my cheeks. Those are cute.
When it's one right under your nose or on your forehead or some other strange location, it's not so endearing.
And Rozz, if you want freckles, try using benzoyl peroxide cream. Yes, zit cream. I never used to freckle on my face before and then BAM. Freckles. I didn't make the connection for the longest time and then I realized HEY...I get freckles where I put this stuff! It freaked me the fuck out! So I stopped using it and have stopped freckling. But I must now deal with my existing freckles. The non-cute ones.
Recently I learned BP makes your skin ultra-sensitive to the sun's rays. Whoops.
Then again, this does not happen to my sister who uses BP, so maybe I am just a freak of nature.

i hear ya on that one! i have them ALL over my body. the ones on my forehead don't bother me too much, but when i freckle under my nose and too far over my cheeks, it gets annoying. also my chest is starting to freckle a lot, i may go get some of that cream again and start using it on my chest and lip

I read that you can lighten skin with buttermilk or tansy extract. Pat on, let dry then wash off. I imagine you'll have to do this every day or twice a day to see a difference. At least its cheap.![]()
I am absolutely coated with freckles, mostly on my face, arms, chest, and shoulders. I also have some freckles on my body, legs, and feet. When I was little the other kids called me Spot, or Sprinkles.
Since reaching adulthood, I have never had anything but compliments on my freckles, and they've made me money at the club. Just today a guy bought twenty lap dances in a row and spent most of them marvelling over my freckled shoulders.
They're cute, guys. Don't fight it, just go with it!
After all, a leopard can't change his spots, and we can't really either.
