See? No problem.

The thing is a tip would not make me feel any better if someone assaulted me. It's like oh I touched u sorry but here u go whore here is some money to make u feel better. That does not make it ok.
And no "dancers" do not have pimps, if they do then they are prostitutes not dancers and yes I know that exists within some clubs.
BTW a john isn't a pimp, it's a prostitute's customer.

LOL shows how much I know about that line of work.
I have known dancers that have guys try and sell dances for them and they guys are either their boy friends or "friends" who will get a cut of the dances.. I also know of older men who try to "help out" new dancers by getting them jobs at clubs.. the dancers are so new they don't know they could have gotten the job themselves by just walking in, but the guy acts like it was he that got them the job and all the amenities that came with it.. I consider these men pimps as well.
as for being tipped, if she is going to allow these guys to manhandle her (which I would defiintely not allow and who knows she might have been fine with it. I have seen worse) then at least act like a customer and tip her. We all deserve to be tipped if you are going to come to the stage. No touching is allowed in ANY club I have worked at, but if you are approaching my stage you had better tip me.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

OH I see, sorry I have never heard that term.
heh, I just had to go back to look at that.. I think
I am only reading half of these posts.. wow it's been a long day..
pimps bad.. john law, hmmmm... I hate watching Cops, a little more force than necessary sometimes.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
You learn something new everyday right?!![]()
I think the term "assault" is a little harsh in this case. What he did was not right, but he meant no harm, nor was the stripper upset about it, as most would be if they had been truly "assaulted". I'm not saying he was right, but a lot of people fall to peer pressure and do things they are not proud of. I think that's why he came here, to sorta make amends for it, not to mention tipping her. Let's not crucify him.
Just think next time the guys are encouraging you to do something.

^By legal definition it is assault.

I realize that, but just wanted to point out that the OP was not intentionally causing harm. People make mistakes. Especially![]()
Again, I'm not saying this was okay to do, just that we shouldn't crucify him for it. This site gets carried away with that sometimes.

Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"
Yeah... I'm going to disagree. I kind of want to crucify him. And I think the reason that I personally react so strongly, outside of the fact that it was obviously posted to provoke that reaction is that I hate being treated like my body is public commodity. Yes, I commodify my body, but there are no free samples. You are not allowed to touch me, caress me, grab me, let alone slap me unless it has been negotiated and agreed upon in some way. You know. Just like everywhere else in our society. And I am sick to death of offering guys free passes because, well, gosh, I am, after all, a filthy whore and why should they be expected to know any better? Well, they ARE expected to know better, I DO expect them to know better - just because I've given other men - hell, a lot of other men - permission to touch me does not mean that I'm public property, in the strip club any more than while I'm walking my dog in the park. The difference between the two is that in the strip club I am likely to agree to let guys touch me, not that agreement isn't needed. Case you're wondering? Yes, I feel strongly about this.

Yeah thats not the thing to do.
I find this quite pathetic and I can't stand clubs or dancers for that matter that would agree to customers fondling them on stage. It just looks tacky and if a club agrees to this type of behavior it's really hard to draw the line with customers as to what's really appropriate.
I'm sure this guy and his friends thought it was funny and still think it was a joke and if the bouncer hadn't verbally warned him then he would have probably continued a## slapping the dancer and the tip you gave her, however much, is miniscule compared to the disrespectfulness of your actions which speak louder than words.
Grow up!
