Default Software sharing between my own computers?

Hey everyone.. I was just wondering about this. I have some software that I purchased legally (MS Publisher, Office, and Adobe Creative Suite 2). Now, each of these is installed on 2 computers already, mine and hubby's. Is there any way to legally add these softwares to a new laptop without having to purchase extra licenses? I just want to buy a laptop that is light-weigt so that it's easier to lug it around. I would also be open to the option of removing it from my existing computer.

Is this possible? Can I do it through this cable that has 2 USB inputs on both ends? Or is it totally against the user agreements?

Thanks so much to anyone who replies!

Yes you can, with Office, you SHOULD be able to use the same key, however if you have issues, I can get you another. With PHOTOSHOP they allow you to install on multiple systems, however if they see eachother, the one opened after the first one will be forced to close.

Just use the cd's and install. You legally bought adobe, and they aren't horrifically picky as long as you aren't distributing it. If it gives you hell, let me know.

CS2 has online activation; if you try to do this more than twice, you might get a failure notification.

To my knowledge this is legal, but I'm not entirely positive. To my best recollection if the computer is for the personal use of the buyer its legal. I can't think of any reason why it wouldnt be, but again I am making an educated guess here. The only other help I can think of is to check the agreement which can be found by going to the Help menu, (in the program itself) clicking About, then click on View User License Agreement (it may be under view the End ULA or something similar). Hope this helps.

Yes, the User Agreements all say that 2 computers are allowed, as long as they are used by the same person. I tried to install Publisher a third time and it told me that I've exceeded my 2 installs.

I'm kind of afraid to try with Adobe because thie user agreement sounds so much more tight-assed, I don't want any trouble
