I've come a long way since I believed in anything, and I've come half way around the world.
Where you come from is gone.
Where you thought you were going to was never there,
and where you are, ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

Those guys, especially Kirby, are GODS. Byrne is probably who i stole from most. Rude's fantastic. Stanton does good girl art.
I also love both Buscemas, John Romita JR, and even have a Tom Of Finland collection. If anyone doesn't know who Tom Of Finland is, here's far too rude for me to post here.
On a classical tip, I like Turner, Francis Bacon and William Blake, but really anyone who can actually paint well impresses greatly.

Now with added Laser-Monkeys!
Warning Level - 15. I'm bad news, baby.
Crap, I forgot to mention Basquiat. Our painting styles are very similar.

Lily Mae Martin. She's fairly obscure and Australian (a Melbournian, in fact, and I've met her), so I doubt many of you would have heard of her.

Margaret Keane
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"
I was a big John Byrne fan growing up, but once I got to college, his stuff just became lackluster. I haven't followed anything he's done lately.
I didn't get into Kirby until I read the newsprint New Gods TPB, but I quickly started to pick up more and more of his classics. I even referred to myself as the "Black" Kirby of Comics.
I dig the Romita (Sr and Jr) also, I should probably also mention Carmine Infantino, and I'm not sure how I could forget to mention Alex Toth, especially since he had a hand in designing so many of those iconic Hanna Barbera characters (Scooby Doo)
