    Default costume problem

mum brought me or may have part made a cow girl costume and keeps asking when am i going to wear it, but i just don't think it is right, the jean shorts have been cut to basically just a thong (think she made these) and i think it shows to much straight away, i just keep telling her i have had requests for the other costumes, sort of feel bad cause i am lying to her, and she has bought me some nice ones in the past, should i be honest with her or just wear it to a show,

I think you're being really sweet not to criticize her work. Some people would say go back and make her fix it, but if you buy a lot of costumes from her, its worth it to keep your mouth shut about it if you don't know how to tell her without offending her. Just my humble opinion.

Honestly I think I would tell her that I like it and that I would wear it but there are something I want to change and se eif they can be changed. but make sure you let her know that I appreciate her efforts and that I didnt want to bring it up but that I dont feel I can wear it as it is.

I HATE when someone thinks they are being nice by not telling me they are happy with something. If you special ordered an outfit and it didn't come out the way you want just tell me! I'll fix it or make you a new one about 99% of the time! I don't want anyone to have something that they're not happy with. I can't tell you if this is how she would feel or not but it is how I feel!

have showed mum that it's a bit reveling to start off with, need to have some butt hidden to make more of a show out of it, think she understands now, said shes getting some more cheap jeans and might try some thing different, be interesting what she comes up with this time, she took the criticism well
Not sure what to do with a thong made from jean pants, might be ok for the beach next summer, i hate the winter, i want summer now

i think if i ever were to be making a costume for my daughter it would be more on the covered side of things than on the reveling, i have a enough trouble with her swimwear, just glad she isn't old enough to even consider dancing,

Just tell her you wore it? Or does she go to your shows?

no she dosn't goto my shows, although has been to 2 just to see what happans, she quiet often most of the time helps me get dressed before i head off and some times drops me at the shows, likes to know every thing is a perfect, no twist in the top string of the thong, top is on straight, hair is neat, make up is good the list goes on, she has been like it my whole life, when ever i'm going any where for any thing, i'm not sure why she wants me looking always right, has mean't i have never had a problem getting new cloths my whole life, or hair cuts make up etc
still find it a little weird her buying or trying to make me stripping gear
