I have a serious problem with always craving Olive Garden. And I HAVE to have the fried zuchinni with peppercorn ranch dip EVERY TIME. If I ever had to live off one food for the rest of my live that would be it.
Oh and P.F. Changs - I tried it the other night and OH EM GEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I forgot PF Changs and Melting Pot. MMMMMmmmm.
Anyone ever hear of The Firecracker? (Pacific Rim Cuisine)
I avoid chain restaurants, but my family drags me to the Olive Garden about once or twice a year and the minestrone there is pretty good. And I do really like Outback Steakhouse - that hot pumpernickel bread with honey butter, salad with mustard vinaigrette and homemade garlic croutons, and excellent steaks. Once every few months K and I go to Outback. I used to work at one several years ago and am happy to report that their corporate culture isn't bad, and they really do make everything in house from scratch.
So Outback would be my favorite chain, but like I said I avoid chains. I have a lot of restaurants I really love, starting with Brooklyn Bridge in Memphis, TN. It's owned and operated by a huge Italian family from Brooklyn and it's like fine dining in Goodfellas. They have a rigatoni dish with a vodka-tomato-cream sauce that is seriously to DIE for.
In L.A., I like Palms Thai, Crispy Crust Pizza, C & O Trattoria in Venice Beach, and Yang Chow in Chinatown. I think Cactus Taqueria also deserves a mention even though they aren't technically a restaurant; it's a streetside shack with a couple of picnic tables on the sidewalk. You can get incredible, authentic tacos for a dollar and various other cheap excellent eats, and their homemade horchata is a perfect treat on a hot day (and only costs a dollar as well).
I LOVE chain restaurants! Olive Garden, On the Border, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Chili's, Bertucci's, Red Robin... haha! Just too many of them. I really mostly eat at chain restaurants and fast food places other than for sushi, Portuguese food and sometimes pizza and Chinese.

I <3 Chilis' Cajun Chicken Pasta. Juicy, spicy chicken with a white sauce and pasta is the best meal ever. Its my "birthday meal." I demand to go there every year for it.
Olive Garden used to be a favorite but I've grown sick of it. I'll go just for salad and heavenly breadsticks occasionally. I mean, how many times have you gone there and ordered a full meal and been full by the time it comes?
We have a restaurant in Orange County that is straight out of Goodfellas too. It totally creeps me out when I'm there because I'm waiting for Joe Pesci to jump out of nowhere and kick someones ass.
3 more weeks until I move to LA and I think me and the boy would like to do something different for my birthday this summer. I'll have to check one of those places out. As close as I've lived to LA all my life I know jack about where to get the good grub.
Ooo I can't forget the Frescas chain for killer horchata either!

My fave hands down is Wild Ginger in Seattle. Their food is so fucking great, I drool just thinking about it. Fragrant duck with steamed buns and plum sauce, Laksa... *drools again* Then, I'm a big fan of Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese food-so not really any restaurants in particular, as long as it's good. OMG-sushi, pho, thai curry...

Okay, I'm going to sound horribly plebian, but I love fast food restaurants, Subway being a particular favourite. I love fast food chicken salads and soft serve ice cream. I also like good Japanese restaurants, since I love authentic sushi. Another place I love to eat is the cafe at Monash Medical Centre (yes, I'm a tool). They have wonderful rice paper rolls that I'm addicted to. The Vegie Bar in Fitzroy is also nice, but a little crowded and out of my way.
I love Outback. Ruby Tuesday's has an awesome salad bar.
Yeah, Changs is great too.

We love going to Hooters, They have the best wings!! Esp. with the spicy jack sauce. Lately I have been on a Japaneese hibachi kick, so I have been hitting everyone in a 50 mile radius in search of "the best"

All kinds.I love thai, sushi, other asian/fusion,mexican,fondue,italian,french,russian of course etc restaurants.
DC is very known for steakhouses (so is NYC),so out of those kind,I would say Morton's,even though there are many other great ones like the Palm,Smith and Wollensky's,Capitol Grille and the like. Not too crazy about Ruth Chris's though.Steakhouses are great, but you can't go too often.
Other than that,Cheesecake Factory,PF Changs (unfortunately there are none downtown) and some others.
Also, the location of the restaurant is often the key to choosing it.For example, many people hang out at the Georgetown harbour in the summer (Tony and Joe's,Sequoia, etc) and dine at those places mostly because of the views.

What up ATL, I got a serious R. Thomas itch right now.

I love Asian food.

Arirang too. The hibachi. **drool**

Oh shit scratch that. There's is one that blows all of those out of the water for me. Ninja NewYork. Holy shit! It's Japanese.
Oh man, that reminds me, I found the best damn dumpling place in New York! Y'all have to try . They're somewere in lower Manhattan and they have all these different kinds of Chinese dumplings and dipping sauces, and they're all incredible.
Carrabba's and Olive Garden. I used to not like Olive Garden as much but they've improved a lot in the past few years. I love their portabella ravioli dish for lunch, mmmm![]()
