    Angry Working During Sports Events...(RANT)!!!

I always read or hear about how great girls do at work when there is a sports event going on on tv during their shift. Well, in San Antonio IT SUCKS ASS!!! People come into the club and plop their asses down right in front of the stage (we have 2 huge-ass plasma tv's set- up on each side of our main stage), and just sit there for hours watching the game on tv (Spurs/Play-offs right now)...completely ignoring the dancers who are busting their asses on stage, and they don't tip, either!!! Downright rude IMO! Go to fucking Hooters!!! I don't know if this is just SA, the set- up of my club, weird people....or what!? Couples coming into my club to watch sports has been a "particular trend" here, and it always looks like the guy wants to tip, but he can't cuz the SO is sitting right beside him! Why do people come to a Titty Bar to just watch sports!!!??? I guess I'm just an idiot, cuz I don't have a fucking clue!

    WORD.

The stupid ass Senators made it to the Stanley Cup finals, and I feel like I shouldve stayed abroad for an extra two weeks. Isn't it fun to be on stage, and everyone cheers, and you wonder what you've done, only to realize it's the goddamn hockey game? Or else, every one boos all of a sudden? And no one even notices when your song is over, because it's overtime?

Eh clubs with TV's. Thats the one thing I would change about most SC's is take out all the TV's. Its hard to fathom a guy needs to go all the way to the SC to watch sports while surrounded by bountiful breasts to ignore.

It was always better when the game was over and their team one then the guys would be in a spending mood. However, I try not to work most sporting events' hours as my current clubs dont have TV's. Its always slow during those times.

Oh I think I read here that it was best to hit guys up for LD's when there is a commercial or half time.

Ugh when they would sit away from the main floor near the bar and watch TV sipping on their O'Douls ignoring every hottie in the place until blood has restored to the little head.

Oh yea one more I also heard that if its a late game its best to work the next day but only if they win because some guys love to gamble and spend the winnings on the girls. Just a theory.

I've made BANK in SA during the Playoffs and Finals when the Spurs were playing. Hell, I've even danced for some of the Spurs.

Here's a tip; there is ALWAYS going to be a few guys there that are travelling and not there for the game, especially on weekdays. Also, you can always find a guy out there because his buddies dragged him out, who secretly really wants dances! They are out there, you just have to drill. Approach lots of groups, fuck em if they're rude.

Also, know a bit about what's going on in the game. If you approach during a TO and commercial, it can be a decent convo starter.

Katrine is right. I'll bet they are there. More than once I have been the traveling guy in the crowd of homer sportsfans, and it can be a real pain. For some reason, it seems like dancers sometimes give up and don't approach the non-fans. When they do, sometimes the dancers will say "Are you a Tigers/49ers/Cowboys/Knicks fan", and when I say no, they really perk up their energy level -- that can make a good connection.
