Default Mascara and contacts (no diorshow for me)

I tried it. I absolutely loved it, but my eyes were getting sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo irritated from it, and I even started only putting it on the lash tips. Anyone no of a mascara that's just as fabulous, or close to it that wont irritate my poor eyes? Right now I'm usuing an avon sample my friends mother gave me- it hasn't been released yet, but it doesn't do a good job at all-though there is no irritation.

I believe that it is Benefit's BADgal lash mascara which is quite similar to Diorshow - will double check.

Have you tried Diorshow water proof? That may make a difference.

I have the perfect gimmie-luscious-eyelashes application technique which doesn't involve mascara or a wand. It is using MAC's fluidline and my special mascara brush.

I have to dash but I will post my technique later!

I will always use Maybelline Great Lash. I've tried others and I keep coming back to this stuff. Doesn't irritate, doesn't get clumpy if I gingerly apply it and can add a respectable amount of length and volume --especially if I layer it on. The best part is I can get two at Walmart sometimes for 3.97 when they do the two for one deal. With that price I use a new one every month to avoid it getting funky or infectious. I think thats the most important part of mascara to me.

i'm currently in love with maybelline's sky high curves - it goes on super smooth, stays put all day/night, and makes my lashes look a mile long

Are you ladies contact lens wearers? I'm sort of scared to try a new brand after the burn from the diorshow withought other contact lens wearers stamp of approval.

Yes, I used Great Lash with contacts and didn't have any problems. I haven't used any other mascaras that gave me problems either so I'm possibly just not as sensitive.

I wear contacts, but I stick to the hypo-allergenic mascara to avoid irritating my eyes.

Definicils is amazing. It makes my eyelashes really long and it never clumps. It does flake a little, but not enough to make me stop using it!

Another great mascara that I love that doesn't irritate my eyes is 'Voluminous' by L'oreal -the waterproof one. It makes my eyelashes look like they're fake and it lasts until I remove it with eye makeup remover. Plus, it's under 10.00 dollars.

I have contacts and use Urban Decay's Skyscraper mascara. Never clumps and lasts all day.
