    Default Just a little story

That I want to share after reading all about how sad little naive customers are being fucked over my strippers.

Tonight after work I stopped by the grocery store and then walked out to hail a cab. As I was walking a homeless guy asked me for change, and I gave it to him. Another drunk guy runs over and starts yelling at him "Do you have ID, Do you have ID" and was about to stomp him until I said "what are you doing?" (Not to most clever or evocative question, since I knew what he was doing, but it was all that occurred to me at the time.) He kicked him a couple of times, while the homeless dude struggled to get up and I said (again, I know not the most clever thing) "Stop that".

A group of 5 young guys that I recognized from the club ran over and started yelling at the homeless guy "Are you going to take that? Don't let him do that to you" etc., in such a way that it was very clear that they were trying to instigate a bumfight. I (and I'm not really proud of this) left. I mean, there were 6 guys, (7 including the homeless guy who was roused to fight) all feeling kind of violent. I left.

I had been nice to these guys earlier in the night. I had been flirting with them, and gave one my email address (work related, not romance related). Now I realize that not all customers do that sort of thing. But if I can point out - these are the guys that we are being asked to feel sorry for.

Good illustration. Im so over hearing how it's our job to "screw guys out of money" or trick them. They know when they walk in the door what it's about. They get something for their money. I have never tricked anyone out of their money.

Not only were you nice to them in the club, but you worried about whether you were sufficiently "clever and evocative" at the outset of a streetfight?

Belies the "patriarchal swine" atavar . . .

For my two cents, whether to be decent to customers (or in my case, dancers) is not a matter of who they are, it is a matter of who I am. Like you, I suspect, I am decent to people in the club because that is the way I want the club to be.

In cases like this I remind the custies that the bouncers will escort them outside- to beat them down where there AREN'T any surveillance cameras

Yeah, I posted before about the weirdest thing I ever saw in a stripclub - a guy who just leapt on this dude in a wheelchair and started pounding him for for reason that any of us could see.

    Fucked up.

I can never comprehend such cruelty. Those are the guys that I'd like to "accidentally" trip and throw my drink on, or break my fall with my boot heels on their nutsacks.
