Default Emergency BC needed when not fertile?

So I didn't put in my diaphragm last night, and D came in me. I had my period start on the 15th of may, and according to mymonthlycycles.com I'm on day 18- a non fertile day. I should get my period within 7 days.

I have also been told that I have a very thin utarine lining and it would be difficult for me to get pregnant- but I've known women who've had a few kids after being told they'd NEVER be able to have a baby. I guess what I'm wondering is, should I go and buy Plan B? I really hate that stuff, it makes me pms for weeks. Is there no chance of me getting pregnant right now? Or just a very low chance? Ugh, I know I made a totally bad move here.

There's always a chance, especially if you're not on regulated hormones like oral contraceptives. Technically you can only guess by the date of your last period whether you're fertile or not; the only surefire date is that you will most likely be fertile 14 days before your NEXT period, but you don't know when that will be. And the ovum can survive for several days (sperm can live for a couple of days too).

So if you really, really don't want to get pregnant, take the Plan B. And next time use the diaphragm.

YEah..there's alwyas a chance..it may be low, but there is still a chance. If you for sure definatly do not want pregnant, take the plan b, just in case.
A few weeks of pms is way better than morning sickness and a baby.
