Default Movies that you show people so much that you get sick of them

I just showed one Harold and Maude to one of my friends. It's an awesome classic, and a very dark humored yet optimistic outlook on life. Everyone needs to see it, and I show it to everyone. I have to space out the showings, or just burn it to a disc and bug them to watch it, or else I'll get sick of the movie.

Some other movies that I just have to show others at the risk of getting sick of them:
    Super Troopers
Visitor Q (Great Japanese movie with a fucked up happy ending)
Any of the Studio Ghibli films, like Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away
    Lost in Translation

What movies do you just HAVE to show to everyone and end up getting sick of them due to overshowings?

I have a few that I recommend and then I watch them and need to take a break from them for awhile.

    "Sid and Nancy"
    "The Filth and The Fury"
    "Hedwig and the Angry Inch"
    "The Velvet Goldmine"
    "I Shot Andy Warhol"
    "High Art"
    "Basquiat"
    "Midnight Cowboy"
    "Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!"
    "Boys Don't Cry"
    "Welcome To The Dollhouse"

I'm sure there's others but I'm sick of them right now and don't want to think of them.

"Harold and Maude" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" are my two favorite movies. Fortunately (unfortunately?) the only couple of times I've showed either one to friends they were like, "Uh, this is boring." Then I went "ARE YOU KIDDING ME??" and blinked about a billion times and finally gave up and consoled myself in the fact that I'm super cool. Even if no one else knows

I don't know how many times I've asked a friend to pick out a movie from my DVD collection so we could watch it, and it end up being "The Princess Bride." I love this movie, but I have seen it waaayyy too many times thanks to them! I would definitely just let them borrow it the next time! Here you go... appreciate it, thanks!

Yes Yes Yes Princess Bride! My friends and I used to be able to quote the entire movie.

The Eye, mainly. I watched it SO many times showing it to others. It's how I learned to ask if anyone's seen my report card in Mandarin!

^I loved that movie! It creeped me out so much when I realized that her perceived reflection in the mirror wasn't her own, and it was even scarier in the elevator! I couldn't go into an elevator alone for a while...

Mine, LOL! Everyone wants to watch it with me and I like paying attention to their reactions, but G-d I'm sick of it already.

"Harold & Maude" is THE gold standard for me. Not just my very favorite movie, but honestly, a Buddhist parable on how I aspire to live. I want to BE Maude when I'm 80. Hell, when I'm 60. Hell, NOW. And the Cat Stevens soundtrack . . . *sighhh*

Dottie, I've had that reaction happen to me, or even a "Huh. That was weird. Kinda gross how he liked that old lady," too. Weird, isn't it? I really try not to use it as some kind of litmus test for people, but it's hard to not be affected by a negative response . . .

Others, hmm. I've definitely overwatched "Blade Runner" showing it to others too. And though it's not a movie, I absolutely love ushering a new acolyte through the entre Buffy series (have yet to tire of rewatches, though).

Yet again Dylan, BIG SURPRISE that there's so much crossover there . . . (SID! SID! FUCK YOU SIIIIIIIDDDD!) We need to have a film festival! Oh, man, "Welcome to the Dollhouse" . . .

Princess Bride, Raising Arizona, or Time Bandits, but I don't get sick of them!
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

I would be remiss in my duty if I did not tell you that the idea of intercourse - the act of your firm, young body... comingling with... withered flesh... sagging breasts... and flabby buttocks... makes me want to VOMIT.

Of movies, the ones I hate going through over and over again but must show everyone?

    "Debbie Does Dallas"
    and

I get about 4 inches down... but so close...

The thing about those movies, is some guy will ultimately grab the girl turn her to the side, come up to the camera and say

    "Balls Deep"

and of course this is always EXACTLY at my "point of no return" so I'm left completely unsatisfied, and almost willing to demand a refund.

That came out when my youngest sister was six. She'd watch it seven or eight times a day.

    Blade Runner.
    - "Gee, you've got an awful lot of...really nice toys here Sebastian."

Oh, and the part where he breaks Deckard's fingers one by one. Then when Deckard finally brains him upside the face with the steel bar and he just shrugs it off and goes "THATS THE SPIRIT~!" (I once had 4 pet rats I got all at once as babies and their names were Zhora, Leon. Pris, & Batty.) The "director's cut" eats a bucket of cock with a spork. A unicorn, really? Stock footage from Kubrick's "The Shining"? WTF? Any other fans want to have a discussion about the 6 replicant problem in the film, PM me. More human than human.

Also, anyone who doesn't even smirk at anything Monty Python, Kids In The Hall, or Izzard...go away.
