lol sorry yea it is but me and my friends decided to call em wine handles for some reason, tho ive had them forever, like growing up and im currently dieting and exercising(ive lost 12 pounds already) and they just wont budge
I usually do some sort of stretch over a bench at the gym but i want something i can do at home when i cant get to the gym

    maybe target your obliques..

Callestinics (sp) could work. LIke put a brook or stick handle behind your neck, then bend from side to side.

that's just fat though. You might have to lose some more weight to see a result. Are you happy at your current weight?

Step up cardio. I found that one thing really makes me feel a burn in that particular area...I lay on my side on a stability ball...with the ball just under my armpit(if you can picture that). Then do very slow side leg lifts...lifting my leg up and to the side(kind of tracing an upside down "u" in the air....)and back. 3 sets of 10 on each side and my hips and "wine handle"(love that!) area is burning.

It's actually a Pilates move a friend showed me...i just do it on a stability ball instead of lying on my side flat on the floor to target my hip area more.

That sounds interesting, i will have to do that when i hit the gym tomorrow, they have a ball there.
i have also been doin some side bends with 5kg dumbells, they seems to make me feel a little tighter there.

That's interesting, I've always layed with my armpit in the ball, on the side like you, yet I would do like a "side crunch" I guess you could call it...

Cameron, is your foot pointed, or flat?

I do it with my foot pointed...but I suppose you could flex the foot too...

^^ I do that move. I alternate point and flex, cause it target's different muscles depending on if you point or flex.
At least...it feels like it does...

I would think it would. Damn if my hips arent sore afterwards though...that move looks so simple and easy ...but yikes do I feel it!!!

Ya know another tough one on the ball?

Lay on it, with the ball under yoru tummy.
Try to raise your left leg and right arm at the same time. Then switch. ( kinda like a superman thing)

I dont knwo if its the blonde in me or what, but Unless I consuiusly put efford into ok, right leg, left arm, left leg, right arm....I cant do it. I will fuck up anmd try to rase same arm same leg each time.
Its hard! But the concentration it requires means you really put fucus into workign thoes muscles, and its nto easy to do to begin with.
Same kind of move, but lay on the floor, hodl the ball with your legs and arms. Now try same thing. Hold the ball with opposite arm/leg, and switch.

Its really tough, and works the abs like crazy!

it is fat ..until the extra weight goes they wont budge if you are like i was .. i was 134 (i'm 5' and they remained.. i got down to my ideal 120ish and they are still a little soft but dont hang over jeans and stuff but what DOES help in the meantime are belly dance type moves.. it really stretches out your torso so you stand taller.. which stretches them up.. like stand and raise your arms above your head and really stretch that rib cage up.. you will see they kindof go away.. you cant walk around like that but at least you can see standing taller and holding your abs in ect.. makes a difference in the meantime
the belly dance moves are standing with a high lifted torso and arms above your head in the 10 and 2 clock positions... you do circles.. side to side moves all with a tight butt, abs sucked in ect.. i could list the moves but they wont make sense.. just google and you will find sites that spell out the moves.. even just the move of side to side if you do 100 of them you start to sweat and feel lifted
the side to side is in the "position" lift one hip kindof in a pump.. very isolated .. do it on the left then the right after about 15 i find i "relax" and have to re get into position with a high rib cage ect.. do it naked in front of a mirror and you can see all your little muscles just going to town
