I use the Shangri-La diet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shangri-la_Diet) which involves the use of flavourless calories as a natural appetite suppressant. The book by Seth Roberts is highly recommended.
no diet pills have ever worked for me. when I took aderall though before weight loss was a side effect. I am interestedin this thread if there are any new ones around. Oh..I forgot they have pills for asthma called breath eze or something at seven 11 and I never wanted to eat when I took them, I think they had ephedrine in them.
I've never found anything legal or safe that works. I know of a few dangerous ones that work, but I'm not going to name them. I've tried just about everything on the market (including the black market) and in my experience, most diet pills are absolute crap.

I havn't tried Alli but I just saw a commercial on tv for it. My internets crashing, so I cant post a link but jsut type it in google and results will come up. From what i read earlier, its approved by the FDA as an over the counter weightloss drug recently. I know its being sold at walgreens. If anyone else has tried this already (not sure how long its been out) or took the perscription kind, Id be interested to know if it really works.
According to Google... Alli is just a low-dose version of Xenical. Xenical only works on severely overweight people and only makes a difference if you eat an extremely high fat diet. But if side effects such as uncontrollable oily rectal leakage appeal to you... then by all means, give it a go
Edit: To clarify, Xenical works by making your body unable to absorb much fat, so any fat you eat will just run straight through you. I looked into taking it and spoke at great lengths with a few different pharmacists about it, and basically it seems like it's made so clinically obese people can keep eating shitty hi-fat foods and lose weight. It has little to no effect on anyone with a BMI of below 23.
The only ones that ever worked for me had ephedra in them (back before they found it like, killed people and stuff) but they made me so jittery!
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
Nothing has worked for me. I've tried Phentermine, Ephedra. etc. I took Adderrol for years, and got off recently. Even still, I could eat a full meal on all of those things. Right now I've put on weight, but that's purely from sedentary lifestyle and eating too much. But my restiing heart beat is like 104 bpm. My metabolism is still pretty high, I just need to be more active.
Diet pills and pharmaceutical speed suck and they will hurt you long-term.

Must agree here, and I've gone to the extent of trying prescription amphetamines (legally, they were prescribed to me when I was overweight). Not only are they crap, they're dangerous, cause brain dysfunction and have a wealth of unpleasant side-effects. I'm not a big believer in drugs per se. They can destroy your health- and that saying about not missing it til it's gone is absolutely true.

I really like the Irwin Naturals Fast-Action Hoodia Diet ......they seem to curb my appetite.

Sounds lame, but multivitamins cut my appetite. I assume it is because I am getting more nutrients and have less drive to gorge on food.
no diet pills have worked for me.
The only thing that I have ever tried was Herbalife. I took it maybe 2 or 3 years back over the course of one summer. Even though I did not keep track of how much weight I lost, I did get several compliments.

I like ephedra plus guarana.
Ive been takign Hydroxycut...
Only 2 pills a day, but I have noticed a slight difference....
