Well, I'm not actually getting paid since I'm just helping a friend who is starting to produce lesbian porn in Toronto. But they are buying a bunch of items I need for my kit that are rather expensive, so it works out. This is my first work as a makeup artist, so I am very excited. As long as I do a good job, I'll have more work with them in the future and having my makeup kit complete will allow to look for other work. Esp now that I'll have experience!!! (Part of me is just super ecstatic that I'll have something to put on a resume for the first time in awhile!!)
So do any of you have any advice for me? I want to do a really good job and was told that some sets don't even have makeup artists, so not to be intimidated. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect on the set? How are the girls? Are they nice or is there usually some drama? Do you usually let the MA (makeup artist for the rest of this thread) do what she wants or do you tell her what usually works best for you? Any brands/products that work really well for porn? There is one shower scene, so I need to be water-proof prepared. Is body makeup expected? I know some sets can be just awful and I really want the girls to be happy and comfortable, so they perform well. Is there anything I should bring with me that producers may have not thought of (mouthwash, douche/feminine products, tiny sewing kit, etc)?
Basically, what makes you have a good, happy, comfortable day, when you are performing? What makes the MA good, specifically on a porn set? Anything shocking I should expect?
Thanks lovelies!!

They don't necessarily want a porn star look, but more than totally natural. So not totally glammed up, just naturally pretty. I'm going to try to concentrate on making their skin look beautiful and glowy with lighter eye makeup, more natural false lashes, and pretty glossy lips.
