If its a peekaboo PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT try to hang or climb or spin on it, repackage it and return it to the store. It is not safe, it will fall and you will get hurt.

If its one of the safer ones then good luck and enjoy

Ha, me too! But it's only temporary until I get a nice one--though it will definitely support my weight no matter what I do on the fucking thing.

It's a 10 'steel electrical conduit pipe, lol! I took MadMaxine's advice and got it, while I figure out if I want brass, the SuperPole, or to try to build a new type thing, flexible pole prototype. I'm putting it up tomorrow--pictures will follow soon.

    great,
i bought this pole at the nearby deja vu love boutique and the salesman told me that the girls who work in the club use them at home...............(i don't think it was a selling ploy but one can never really tell) anyways i don't plan on doing any inversions yet

No..take it back. I know a lot of girls who got really hurt trying to dance..not even doing inverts..on poles like this.

I bought my pole from sassysummer(she's a member on here) I paid about $200 WITH shipping and I invert, spin, everythin gon that thing with no problem. I even had a party where a lot of people were playing on it over the course of the night and it never budged.

A quality pole is worth a bit of extra money.

    yup, that's a peekaboo pole.

you're not even supposed to LEAN on it! I call it a "prancing pole"..cause all you can do is prance around it. it's a glorified shower curtain rod.

at the VERY least drill it into your ceiling so it has SOME sort of anchor.

    just be very careful!!!
