Default Help with new club dance rules

Okay, I'm trying out a new club and it has some rules that are strange to me... I can sell a $10 floor dance (air dances at their seats) or $20 couch dances (where I take them into the back room). But, they have to buy at least two dances to get a couch dance.

How do I sell these? I hope a lot of guys don't want the floor dances. I don't really want to be oggled by the other non-paying custies.

When you are talking about room dances with custie, always ask them first about the room dance, " wanna go play for a couple songs?" I would only bring up a table dance if they did first, kwim?

They have to buy 2 of WHICH dances to get a couch dance? Floor dances or couch dances? If it's couch dances, just tell guys the club has a 2 dance minimum on the couches. Other than that, you'll sell them the same way you would at any other club.

Floor dances can be a great way to get attention and upsell. Don't be afraid of them. It's like getting paid to advertise yourself

Just tell 'em "Couch dances are two for $40" or something.

I'm in a similar situation right now -- for couch dances ($20), the customers have to pay the club a $5 entry fee to the room, which is fine and dandy, but then also another $5 for every 3 songs. So I'm just saying "Couch dances are $25 or three for $65." This has the added benefit of immediately selling more than one dance in most cases.

There are also floor dances, and you know, it's just one song and it's good advertising, so what the fuck. I'm not gonna turn down $10 for a quick air dance -- I mean, we would all like to do higher priced dances all night, but it's advertising and can lead to a bigger sale. The problem (OK, for me) is not looking at the dude like, "You cheap fucker!" when he asks for the $10 dance.

You are working in a club with table dances AND private dances. MANY clubs are like that. You will get some guys who will only want to pay for table dances and who may buy 1 or more, and other guys who prefer the privates.

There are always guys who will not spend in a club. Just focus on the ones who will.

this is so true! plus, at least at my club, some guys in big groups just like having a girl dance where they can all sit back and watch. these guys also tend to tip well...if you get in with a high roller dollar shower type crowd you can seriously bank on the table dances.

i've also been able to upsell pretty successfully by doing one table dance for a hesitant buyer. often they will then ask for vip dances without being prompted, but if not just ask if they enjoyed it and then tell them you can have a lot more fun in the back.

Yeah, all the dances at most clubs out here are floor dances unless you go to VIP. It's great advertising, really!

....at least you have that option!

If I was allowed to sell the $20 one song no touching lap dances at my club (they can only purchase these at the door before they come into the club) I would be making a hell of a lot more money.

There are just some nights where guys do NOT have $55 to spend on a full proper lap dance... I've come up against so so many guys with $20-30 and were prepared to spend that... yet because the minimum for a dance is $55 for 10 minutes... no sale for me.

Be thankful for having that $10 option.

As others have said, do a good dance so you can show yourself off to anyone else who is watching (and people will watch)...... it will pay off.

Agreed, limit their options. They only know as much about the pricing as you tell them. So you deal with the "can't I do one song" question after you have presented the initial price.

For example, at my club We have a ton of different ways of selling VIP rooms, room upgrades, champagne upgrades...I always say they start at $400 for the half hour and then if they don't have sticker shock and are still interested, I'll take them in the back and deal with the upgrades.

I dont mention table dances unless they do first. And if they do ask..I tell them that there is NO touching allowed on the floor(it is a full contact club)....they can only touch in the back. It does irritate me to see girls basically doing friction on the floor. Why give it away for half the price??? I've seen girls do flips on customers on the floor for $10...where they put their head in his lap and wrap their legs around his head(naked).....sorry...umm...my crotch is NOT getting that close to your mouth. ESP> not on the floor for all to see and for 10 freaking dollars.....

Most guys will go to the back. I very rarely ever do table dances..and usually its a group who wants to just party all together, in which case they will all get dances with me or pay me to keep dancing for one guy while they all watch.

When it comes to the champagne room..I always invite them to take a tour of the rooms...free of charge of course and with the bouncer or champagne hostess to guide them and explain the rooms. I kind of let them sell the room for me since when theres someone else involved..esp another guy...the custie is more likely to buy just to save face. He doesnt want to tell the other guy that he cant afford it...

At my old club, we also did table dances for ten, and VIPs for 25 in the back. I absolutely hated the table dances because it was only the cheap asses that would buy them. So I finally started refusing to do them. I never mentioned them, but if the custie brought it up I just said "I don't do those." When they pressed why, which they always did, I snuggled up to them and explained that I don't think it's fair for everyone else in the club to get to see something HE paid for. If he was going to purchase my time, it should be for him and him only. They usually liked that. (That was also the point when I moved my hand from their arm to leg.) Usually worked for me.

I totally agree. I work in a club where there are no dance booths, just hour long champagne rooms. So all other dances are on the floor.

When it's busy, I can just dance dance dance!!! stay nekid, and go over to a nearby prospect.... "I noticed you watching (wink and giggle!) it's a much sexier view when I'm all over YOU"

oh.... table dances are 20 by me..... so I guess it's more beneficial for you to do mostly couch dances.... but still, a good advert

if they complain about it being too much you can always play to their ego

:look disheartened and kinda look at the ground with your hands on their knees or thighs: and say something like "Well ok, but I really wanted to dance just for you" :look them in the eye all sexylike: "and only you" : squeeze wherever your hands are and glance side to side at other custies: "but I guess out here with everyone else watching is ok, I was just looking forward to it being just the two of us:lick lip/bit lip: one... on... one"

just a suggestion. But yeah I agree with everyone, dont think of it as dancing for other for free... you're doing it for ten bux - thats more than some people make an hour for three min of dancing. Your table dances are advertisements. And you can totally sell yourself to other guys while dancing, if while you're dancing and your back is turned to the custy who bought the dance and some other guy makes eyes contact with you and looks interested you can always wink and smile at him. Then after you're done dancing for Mr. Ten Bux 9assuming cheapo doesnt buy more dances) go over to the other guy and start the sell with something like "I couldnt help but notice you while I was over there, I wish it had been you I was dancing for" and then repeat the above... ok I'm done now, hope that helped at least a little...
