Why is that funny? Yes, she deserves to serve her punishment like anyone else, but that doesn't make jail any less scary!

She lasted longer than I would have.

    I feel sorry for her.
I would hate to be in jail, I think I would have a nervous breakdown.

I think it's silly that every little event in jail such as her phoning her psychiatrist is making news tho.

A lot of people see shrinks in jails......................there's a mental reason why they choose to commit crimes. I'm glad she's seeing someone atleast.

No she actually said she has no pillow, only has 3 thin blankets (one used as a pillow) it's freezing, everything echoes and she hasn't eaten at all pretty much. I feel bad for her.

    That's fucked up.
I would not cope with being cold.

I feel sorry for her too I was just kidding.

Don't u think it's a bit stupid sending someone to jail for a minor offense like that?

It infuriates me esp when I see people who rape over here and get some bullshit sentence like 2 years - not if I were the judge (one day )

I felt really sorry for her when I read about the cold thing, and the fact that the inmates are only allowed to wear short-sleeved jumpsuits. I don't cope with cold very well at all. *Kicks Melbourne winter*.

I hate the fact that murderers in for life get cable TV and more time outside their cell than her.

Minor offense. Tell that to victims of drunk drivers who lose their lives or the lives of their family members.

Paris is getting what she deserves, and I feel no sympathy for her in the least, don't believe she deserves any either.

Isn't she in the "special needs" section anyway? What fucking special needs could she possibly have that are legitimate? (that's a rhetorical question by the way)

I'm wondering what her "prision diary" is reading like at the moment?

We all do realise she is getting paid to keep a diary of "her time in jail" ???

I just don't like how she is still making news. Why must we hear all about her?

Well, she's in one of 12 special cells that are reserved for celebrities, cops, and politicians. It's technically a two person cell, also.... I suppose it was wise to put her in there, I doubt she'd be able to fend off any violence. And wiser still since already the other inmates are peeved at her preferential treatment.

What I really roll my eyes at is that so many folks are so worried about her because of gross food, cold showers, a cell, minimal bed things, etc... but no one really gives a shit about that sort of thing happening to anyone else in that facility. Oi.

If they are so worried about them not being able to survive the other inmates, then they should think more before committing a crime thats puts them in jail. Just my take on it.

Personally, I do feel sorry for the other inmates also dealing with that kind of deprivation. Incarceration is supposed to be the punishment in and of itself- you lose your liberty- and in my view that's momentous. I don't think prisoners should be additionally punished by things like freezing cold conditions and insufficient access to medical attention.

Violating probation and driving while disqualified. There might be DUI in there as well, I'm not sure.

i could not really give a rats ass about her or anyone else in jail. they all get treated better then they deserve.

i just think its crazy that she is in jail when others are walking around free. she should have gotten community service. they could have used her to raise Thousands of dollars for the homeless or any charity you name.

I really don't think that community service would have been much different than her damned reality show to her. Doing things she would never dream of ever doing, and the whole world eagerly gobbling it up.

RIGHT ON. Exactly. The reasons that non-celebrities shouldn't drive drunk are the same exact reasons that celebrities shouldn't drive drunk. The consequences need to be the same. Isn't it that simple?

She literally could have killed somebody, on more than one occasion, and she blatantly behaved as though the rules just don't apply to her because she's fabulous PARIS, by continuing to drive under a suspended license (and may have blown off a court appearance too, though I don't follow this at all carefully, so I could be wrong on that detail). She just obviously thought that her money and her lawyers could get her out of anything, and it's high time we proved her wrong.

Wouldn't the public be OUTRAGED if she, or another privileged celebrity, actually killed someone driving drunk? The fact that she did not is pure & absolute LUCK. I admit this is a personally touchy issue for me, but honestly: Think about that.

It's only luck that someone was not killed. A human life, or multiple lives, could have ended because of her apathetic irresponsibility, families could be grieving unbearably without any hope of ever having their son/daughter/mother/father/sibling/spouse back, and people are worried that she doesn't have a pillow for a few weeks?

Shiver, for one and only time in your entire spoiled-rotten-to-the-core life. Shiver.

They have to make an example out of her. Hopefully she will learn what a consequence is. A lot of these women (Lindsay, Paris, Nicole) have NO CLUE ABOUT REALITY. They live in a bubble. What make me even more pissed off is how the news eats this shit up. I mean, growing up I never saw this type of shit on the news.. VH1, MTV ok, thats fine, but people debating, bringing in psychologists' opinions on how she will react... wtf...............1!??!?!?!?!?
