    Default Freaking HUMIDITY!!!!

Oh do I miss Arizona. My hair is perfect in Arizona. But in Toronto, it's a frizzy mess. It's not even hot yet! Just wet damp air. I think I definitely need to change my products (root boost and biosilk) b/c they are making my hair look icky here. What else can I do to cut down on the frizz? Anything to keep my hair from going wavy?

I swear by Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Creme when I'm in Memphis. I don't need it in L.A., but in Memphis I look awful without it. Just wash your hair, dry it, and then once it's mostly dry massage this stuff into the ends - boom, gorgeous glossy hair. It's not expensive either!

I cant imagine your hair being anything but perfect. I have it in my mind as you have the perfect curly hair. But yeah I use frizz ease and after I style my hair I smooth a little lightweight leave in conditioner over the top. Good luck finding something that works for you!!

My hair is nowhere near curly actually. I wish it was either stick straight or really curly. Thx for the suggestions. I'll pick some of that up and I may get something from the Fekkai Summer Hair line too since it also has sunscreen.

I'd also recommend leave-in conditioner. I was having major hair puffing until I grabbed some of that from the store the other day. It's helped a bunch.

I have the frizziest, coursest hair. I have found that no matter what shamppoos or products I use, if its humid, my hair still goes into a giant poofball.

What does help is if I glob on deep conditioning masks or olive oil. Let it sit for 10 minutes, rinse it all out, then style as usual. I gues sbecause both the conditioner and the oil is so thick, it almost weighs down the hair, and coats the shaft so the humidity doesn't effect it. Even after I've been out fo rhours, my hair doesn't frizz a bit.

^^^ well the oil makes sense because it's a lipid and wont take in any water... but doesnt it make your hair kinda well... oily looking?

Redken Smooth Down Detangling cream in damp hair mid shart through ends before you start styling... Mix a drop or two of your Bio Silk anti frizz/shine serum (or any other silicone based hair smoother) with it before you apply if you need more control.

I've been using John Frieda Sheer Blonde Dream Creme. I don't think it really matters if you're a blonde or not. It brightens up my blondish highlights a lot though.

Oh yeah, my point is that it really smooths down and de-puffs my hair without being greasy like those frizz-ease ones. Its really wet and humid like that here too... Boo.

Not at all. My hair comes out nice and shiny. Just be sure to rinse and massage it thoroughly.

Olive oil is a terrific hair treatment

I use a good deal on the ends, so they're completely saturated. For the rest, I just put a bit on my hands and finger comb it through.

If your hair comes out feeling greasy, use a gentle shampoo, or just try conditioner. Thinner, finer hair might not hold it as well as mine. My coarse dry hair drinks it up and begs for more haha

i'm actually a huge fan of citre shine's 'shine spray' it's dirt cheap, smells fantastic, and makes my hair really happy...it does tend to attract city grime though, so i have to wash my hair more frequently when i use it, but i love it...

My hair is pin straight but STILL hates the humidity here in Florida. Redken's Smooth Down is my hero.
