Hi - I've been working at Diamond Cabaret doing chair massage. And up until last week it was awesome. I was making huge tips, and meeting great people, and having a fun time. But we're owned by PT's and they standardized the system nationwide, and now the pressure is on management big time to get us to do as many massages as possible. I pay them $5 per massage - but a few months ago all we had was a normal house fee like the entertainers, and no quotas. They've added more girls per night when it used to be just one, and corporate doesn't seem to understand that our market isn't the same as other cities and we just can't produce - last night they wanted me to do 40, and the best night I've had is 25, and that was working my entire shift without a break, because I got lucky in VIP. We're uber slow right now, and when we only have 25 people in the club, and 90% of them buy one beer and won't even tip the stages or buy laps, what can I do?
So I'm on the lookout for other options - at a non-Pt's club. I heard shotgun's offers this service, and I contacted La Boheme, but they use a service, and I'd like to avoid that. I was told Oasis needs somebody, but I don't know if the clientele there is good for this kind of thing. I make most of my money in the VIP areas, and sometimes make as much if not more than the dancers.
If anyone has any advice or info about their club I'd be grateful. I'd especially be interested in knowing who to contact at Shotgun's. It a bit of a drive for me, but I know they're busier than Diamond.
Oh - and Diamond needs dancers BAD!!! The past few Saturdays we've only had 16 entertainers and nobody was allowed to be bought off the list.
