    Default razors.

i envy those of you who can use disposable razors. they make my legs all bumpy and GROSS... not to mention razorburn from hell.

i finally found a razor that works for me (schick quattro) but now they make a vibrating one!

which one does everyone else use? i'm curious about the gilette fusion, but the blades are so pricy, i'd rifle through them with my greek stubble hairs in no time!

I use Venus Razors. I used to use the one with cartridges, but that's sooo expensive! They came out with a disposable version of the Venus', so I'm using those right now.

I have always liked the Gillette Sensor Excel. The men's version also works well.

I don't see the point of a vibrating razor. That's just silly. But I can't use those disposables either! I also have a Schick Quattro and I like it just fine. I use each cartridge three or four times... my leg hair is very soft and doesn't grow very fast, thank G-d.

i just started using the disposable ones too! they do seem to work just as well as the regular venus razors and they're a bit cheaper. i've used the venus razor for years now. i keep trying out others, but i always end up coming back...

I'm just waiting for LilithMorrigan to come in and rant and rave about how her classic blade s far superior... speaking of which, I need to get one of those razors.

I use the Schick Quattro too. 4 blades is redundant, but what I like are the fine wires that prevent cuts, as well as the "easy rinsing" design.

I buy men's razors for sensitive skin. Hell I even buy the compare to Schick quatro razors from family Dollar. Just as good IMO.

Also, I wanted to add, before I shave now, I scrub my body down with my pumice stone. I guess it's sloughing off the dead cells, and makes it easier for a close shave. I even do it under my underarms. No probs at all now! Super smooth! No stubble, with is something I'm not used to haha.

I just use the venus on my legs. I use the Fusion blades on my kitty, as I can usually get away with a few more uses with them than the venus, which is one, or even two refills for the kitty to be even mildly happy with me. The Fusion is teh bombz.

You guys should check out http://www.greatrazors.com. They cryogenically treat regular blades (like the Fusion, Venus, Excel, Mach 3, Quattro, etc). Cryogenically treated blades hold their edges about 3x longer than regular blades. A pack of 4 blades costs about $3-4 more than they do in the store, but considering they last so much longer, you're really saving a ton of money.

I've bought from them twice and received excellent service both times. I use the Gillette Mach 3 and now one blade will last me a month.

I am going to buy some of these right now. The Sensor Excel 10-pack is like $14, and I'm sure it is at least that much in the store.

I have really sensitive skin and either use the fusion (but I can only use that so long or I get irritated), the soleil, or the gillette custom plus. The last 2 have been working really well for me. They have fewer blades so less irritation but still have good moisture strips. The other thing that helps with getting a closer shave for me is short strokes instead of long ones. I have really thick, dark, coarse hair and they seem to be working well. And the custom plus ones are really cheap too.

Do you guys use shaving gel? If so, how many swipes with the razor before you rinse it? I use a thick layer of gel and rinse after two long swipes, but I do the armpit and bikini areas all at once without rinsing.

i alternate between using a rich hair conditioner and using that new dove body wash w/ oil in it. and i usually try to stick to rinsing between every 3 or 4 short strokes.

I've been using the ribbons body wash with jojoba and I added a thing of vitamin E oil to it. I rinse about every 3-4 short strokes also. If my legs are kinda dry I'll use some of the baby oil gel when I get out of the shower. Plus it seems to make my hair grow back less. Just don't use too much.

I know people with liquid nitrogen. Do you think that I could get them to dip my refills and get the same results?

I hit the jackpot with Schick Quattro refills at a local Big Lots. A 4-pack cost me $3.50, and I bought all they had. It never hurts to root through bargain bins!

Vibrating things are for my clit. I use the Venus Divine. My bikini area is so much easier to deal with after that one session of lazer removal. Now, once I have the money, I will get the rest. Plus, my underarms always seem to have a bit of a shadow afterwards. Want to lazer that shit too. But its just my skin in that area, its very plump there or something....
