Even with the rudimentary knowledge I have picked up from experimentation, this program has saved me a great deal of time and aggravation on the job.
But the one manual I found was worse than useless. Adobe based--difficult to scroll through the innumerable pages, it was written by a techie type with no common sense, and a remarkable ability to confuse and frustrate, instead of simplify and enlighten. I gave up after more than a half an hour, learning nothing whatsoever. All it did was piss me off, lol...
Specifically, I need to know how to get PCDJ to remember where to cue the songs in, if possible, so I don't have to do it manually every fucking time. And you cannot go from one player to a cued in spot on the other player, it bounces right back to 0 00, thanks a lot, lol!
Also, as far as I can tell, the only way to add songs to the 'waiting list subgroups'--folders for individual dancers--is to add it to the "Active List", then go into that Active List and add it from there to the dancer's list I want it in. There is no apparent way to change which list is active, or simply add the fucking song to the list I want in the first place.
And how the FUCK can you do a search?? By pushing the little button with "Find" on it, you can type in a name, but then there's apparently nothing whatsoever you can do about it.
