My flight to LA next week was going to be a nightmare. I had to be at the airport at 8am, which means I really had to be there no later then 7am, which means I'd have to leave my house at 6 am. WAY too early for me....I actually get severly naucious when I have to be up that early. No matter when I get to sleep. So that was stressful.
Plus I had to change planes in Denver...I've never traveled by myself before, and i've NEVER changed planes before. I was so stressed that I'd miss my connecting flight(I only had about 30 minutes in between flights) or that all my luggage would be lost in Denver and I'd be SOL.
So I got up this morning and decided to check and see what else there was....there is a PERFECT flight(that wasnt there Sat when I booked the other one) that is a non-stop flight...I dont have to be there til almost noon and I still arrive in LA about an hour later then I would have!! PERFECT but theres $100 changing/cancellation fee...plus other fees for changing flights,etc... Boo
But I called and they said that as a courtesy they would cancel my flight, and refund the whole purchase price with no cancellation or other fees!!!
So I dont have such a stressful flight after all!! That was very cool of them...it made me happy! Good customer service to me is worth GOLD!
Anyway....just thought I'd share!
