Angry Tricky hairs around C-section scar

I have not been able to get rid of the hair around my now year old C scar. Instead of a runway I have more of a 'tree' lol. Anyway...I juuust started to use a good razor (obviously VERY VERY gently) but it still doesn't quite do the trick. Any suggestions ?

Hm, I think waxing would be pretty efficient.. As well as plucking or perhaps even laser.

    Maybe a tweezer or epilator.

I don't know if you're like me, but my scar is 2 years old and i still don't like to touch it...like my stomach is going to bust open if i mess with it too much lol
so i don't think i personally would be comfotable tweezing/waxing there...i just pull the skin taut and work at it from different angles with the razor. it pretty much does the trick.

My C-scar is 14 months old this week !! As is my baby , haha . Anyhoo I also have those hairs ...the nurse was going so crazy with the Razors my Dr yelled at her ....and I have been paying ever since . Below the scar is numb so I can tweeze but just above the scar is VERY sensitive ......Tweeze if you can so they will stop coming back eventually ......I am not sure why you are having problems with the hairs , was the razor not removing the hair ? Or I guess you could bleach them ??? Sorry I guess I am not much help xo

exactly ! It was only a year ago and Im still very sensititve about the area (even if its only in my mind somtimes..) I tried tweezing but that was short-lived. I settled on using the Venus Divine razor on it -i think thats the one..with the two gelly thingys? Anyway, I had to go reeeeaaallly slow but I ended up getting it pretty good. Thank for all the input ya'll !

Try a razor very carefully with lots of shaving cream and then use cocoa butter after it, lots of it. It took a while for me to get it right after my son. He is 5 now and my tummy never feel the same as before even after all those years. It gets numbs and tingling quite often. My scar is flat and I can cover with makeup only 1 1/2 inches. If yours is raised you should try a scar revision. I had mine closed by a plastic surgeon at the time of the c-section which really helped.

I have been shaving right over my scar as soon as it healed. I've never had problems with it. I'm sorry it's painful for you to shave, I hope you find a new method. Don't shave until you've been in the shower for awhile.
