so let get the truth on Vegas shall we!

Ok I work for Hustler in St. Louis and I also work at aa club called big Louies off of a military base in Missouri. The military base is in the asshole of the world and I still make over 1000.00 a night on weekends. I never walk out of there with less than that. Most girls don't make that. I found that it's b/c I ask and ask and ask till at the end of the night I feel like I vould fall over dead b/c I'm so worn out. The same holds true in St. Louis.

I guess me question is... Vegas, you hear so many girls that say they made mad money when they went there. like 1500.00 a night no problem. ( THESE ARE GIRLS THAT HUSTLE LIKE ME OR WORSE) So if I did got to Vegas and work then with all the people in there then I should be able to make that money there as well and more right. I know there is alot of girls there but there is also alot more customers! like here we might have 60 girls in one night and only 150-200 customers. So same thing just smaller version. Plus most of these guys are cheap I just know how to talk them out of there money. Defrence between me and then is that I hustle all night and will bug a guy over and over till he spends 2hundreds of dollars on me while the other girls just sit there and talk. I don't like regulars so I don't sit there and talk to them. I have found that they are to big of a pain in my ass.

Anyways if I went to Vegas with that attitude and I worked hard. and I worked like 8-10 hours a day shouldn't I be able to make like 2000.00. I keep hearing that this is true but then I hear it isn't. I'm going next month regardless but i just thought i wold see what people said one more time. I've been told that alot of girls tell us that they don't make that much b/c they dont' want more girls going out there. Anyways love ya all! MUAH MUAH. thanx for the advice or tips!

You don't, in my experience, make your money by doing volume lap dances. Like to make a $1000 you don't do 50 $20 dances. You make your money by finding a few GOOD customers and then getting them to spend.

You can hustle all night and still not get a single VIP, persistence pays off but not always.

Vegas is hit or miss and summer is slow. The best clubs to work at won't give you the best shift, right when you walk in the door.

Especially true, if you are from out of town.

Be prepared to work with some serious Playmate material, that know how to hustle HARD and be able to tolerate the biggest drunk jerks you have ever encountered in your life.

Expect to be treated like a flea due to the fact that there is SO MANY DANCERS.

Just coming in town and expecting to walk into a club, (not knowing the ropes or the staff) work hard and work double shifts to make $2000 a day, everyday you work is unrealistic, IMO.

Yep. what she said. We may have more customers, but we have many, many gils. I work with over 300 a night, and competition is FIERCE.
You may work you ass off and hustle harder than ever and not come close to a grand. It's very hit or miss. You need to work hard to find 1 guy who will spend and keep him all night.
It may take 8-10 hours just to make 1 grand, but it may only take 2 hours. It depends. You may work for 15 hours and never hit a grand.

Honestly, if you are able to make a grand at your own club consistantly, then you should stay there. vegas is to hit or miss. Plus adding in rtavel expences, you miht not make as much as you make at home.

You also need to get into the right club to makt hat kind of money, and its tougher to get hired in the summer, since it's slower. If you get here and cant get hired at a good club or a good shift, it would be very difficult to make that kind of money.

But it can happen. 2 grand is possible...but not easily obtainable. ESPICIALLY for summer. You'd be much bette to wait until convention season, if you want to aim for that kind of cash.

So when is Convention season and if the money really isn't that great how come everyone goes there to dance? that makes no sense for girls to go there all the time and travel there all the time to work if they aren't making good money. I don't have to make 2000.00 but I would like to at least make 1500.00 I have never walked out of any club ev en a little hole in the wall without makeing at least 500.00 and that was during the week with like 15 guys at most in a little Kansas town. I don't do any extras either. SO I make my money honest. I don't know out of that many guys I shoud be able to make good money. 300 girls or not. Isn't there a ton of guys?

I think it's a bit of stripper urban legend mixed with herd mentality. A girl from my club went to Vegas last year, bragged about her great time/ great money, and before you know it, everyone started going. Some would come home in the hole, as opposed to rolling in bathtubs full of cash, yet would STILL make trips every couple months, rationalizing "Well, everyone goes there and makes money, why else would they keep going? This time it'll happen for me..."

Almost kind of like your typical Vegas gamblers, come to think of it.

Sorry for the baseball sport analogy, but dancing in Vegas is like being called-up to the majors in baseball almost.

As to being like gamblers, yep no one ever admits how much they lost. Everyone supposedly won $$$$ in Vegas.

Vegas has more dancers than customers much of the time. You say you work on weekends where 150-200 guys are in the club with 60 dancers. In Vegas it may be the reverse.

I have worked in all types of clubs including in Vegas, and in small clubs in the Midwest with 5-7 girls a night. In the old days when clubs wer busier and guys were looser with their money, you could work the floor hard all night long and do well. In those days clubs has waaay less girls than customers too.

Many of the girls who do well nowadays are not the ones who drain the guys and make them regret having come to the club. The best earners in the average club build rapport with the regular customers and make steady money off of guys who like them because they are nice and honest. These guys come to see them regularly, and that type of money adds up. Many of these guys buy chunks of dances.

Vegas clubs also tend to get more younger guys in groups now who are cocky and a pain in the ass to deal with. Once the older guys feel over hustled in a club like some feel in Vegas, they stop going.

The best thing to do is go to Vegas and see for yourself. NO dancer makes money everynight. You have to take the good with the bad. You mention Kansas. There is one club in Lawrence if you've worked there called Flamingo, where guys spend big on private dances, and most come to see regular girls. And those kinds of guys like girls who are friendly and nice to them.

Girls go there so much because they don't know any better - much like you before coming here and getting informed. Also the gambling thing you mentioned, and the partying. Thanks to the Vegas media image, everyone automatically thinks it's the magic pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. So they just keep going and hoping....

Plus, didn't Vegas start enacting laws that pretty much require the dancers to do air dances? Not that I believe for a moment that everyone follows those laws, but I've heard.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but just remember: sometimes it's all a bunch of manure.

I don't want to offend anybody, but to tell you the truth, I really do not care to work in Vegas. I feel like it's completely overrated, like what others have said about the whole gambling thing and everybody is out there looking for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I wouldn't want to be around that kind of cutthroat environment, either. I actually have a friend who is out there right now...she's currently working at "Seamless" and loving it. She said she's been making like $1200 a night. I still don't care to go. I wouldn't mind visiting, but I wouldn't want to work there with all of the stuff I have read about Vegas on here. It just sounds like it wouldn't be my cup of tea. Just my opinion.

Totally agree with that. Personally a) my money is good enough here, b) I don't buy into the hype about Vegas being this supposed stripper mecca, and c) I take the amounts that girls claim to make in Vegas (or anywhere else really) with a grain of salt and assume there's some degree of exaggeration going on...b/c that's usually the way it is.

No offense meant to any Vegas dancers on this board; I know you work hard for your money, you hustle WELL and you deserve every penny of it, no matter where you're working. I have to say though, one thing I will never understand is the quasi-hero-worship given to a dancer around here who's worked in Vegas. I hear it all the time, girls whispering "omg she worked in Vegas!" with wide eyes, and from then on everyone acts all intimidated, like the dancer in question walks on water and is untouchable. I just will never understand that logic.

If you're making $1000 per night on weekends, you should stay where you're at!!

I have mixed feelings on the Vegas scene. My experiences range from good to horrible. My work trips to Vegas were few and short, though, so take it for what it's worth.

Don't even bother in the summer...... People keep coming back not necessarily because they are MAKING big money, it's more like the promise, or ALLURE of big money. Girls come here and see so much money being spent they figure with so much flying around that they figure some of it has to fly my way , I'm a good hustler, right??? WRONG. Making $$ here has a lot to do with luck as well. With soooo many girls and customers being harder to read (i.e the guy your sitting with may have been a cheap blue collar worker 24 hours ago but today he has 10 grand to blow thanks to the casino) it is truly hit and miss. It's easy to see dom flowing, money raining and girls cashing out thousands in funny money and think that its easy.I've made 25$ more than once and made 2500$ more than once. The one thing you will get is experience. I started dancing in Vegas, so it's all I really know, and I truly feel like I can go ANYWHERE and make money.

This is so funny that I ran across this thread! I live and work in Dallas, but I have going to vegas at least every one to two months for the last two and half years. I have many many friends out there and Im single so, what the hell why not? Just recently I started working out there ( march or april) and, of course, all the Dallas girls found out. Now everyone is going out there to work, and many coming back pissed!!! Vegas hustle is pretty much the complete opposite of Dallas. I just figured if I am going out that often, I might as well work out there. Of course the dancers are coming back with exaggerated stories....I heard one girl say she made 6,000 in two nights. What's funny is I worked those same two nights at the same club in vegas and A. never saw her B. no way in hell anybody there made that much money. Same story with another girl who was there supposedly the same time I was. Come on, the Rhino dressing room is not that big, and if you have to be there by eight (new rule if you are a new hire) I WILL run into you. It makes me mad that these dancers are giving so much false hope to dancers in Dallas!!! From my experience, this is the truth about Vegas: I dont care how much money you made back home, it doesn't mean sh*t in Vegas. This is a totally different ballgame. The only way to know how you will do is to go out there and give it a shot, but definitely dont have 2,000$ every night expectations....stay motivated, but also remain open minded and humble, if that makes any sense!!!

I agree with the posts above. If you want to try Vegas, go ahead, it's a great experience, but don't expect you'll make a killing there for sure. I used to fly there for some conventions, and must admit, I got lucky a few times there, like I never get lucky back home, but some nights I really struggled to make my house fee back. The competition is really tough in Vegas, not all customers are there to blow money, many have already blew it at the casino and came to the strip club just for the experience of being in a Vegas strip club, not to throw money at girls. With the stress of working there, the music there is so loud, I thought I'd lose my hearing, with so many girls working there and so much hustle, everyone wants your money, you are supposed to tip everyone for doing nothing for you, it can be quite stressful to work there. A big convention doesn't mean you'll make a killing. It atracts so many girls and really spreads the money thin. Yes, someone may take you to VIP just because and tip you well, but so many times I've seen girls sitting with a guy just because all the other guys who look like they have any money are already occupied by girls! On top of that you'll pay for the flight, hotel, cab, meals etc. It adds up. If you want to try, go ahead go there, some girls love it there, some don't. But bring some money with you just in case.

Forgot to say, at my home club even on a bad night I make SOMETHING, in Vegas it happened a couple of time I went him NEGATIVE. Some nights it dind't pick up until 12 at night, and I had to work till 6-8 am to make something. Those were some long ass shifts. You can be a great hustler and THAT can be one of the reasons why you do so well at your home club, you stand out from other girls there, in Vegas EVERY GIRL is a seasoned hustler, and I'd say it could be a different hustle that you'd need to learn to do well there.

About the new air dance law. That ony applies to clubs within Las Vegas city limits, and that is only a few clubs and they are the less desirable ones. Clubs like rhino, sapphire, scores aren't affected by that new law. Only Glitter gultch, I would assume OG's, maybe larry's Vila, I'm not exactly sure4 which clubs were affected by it, but I know that the main clubs weren't. I also know that the clubs that were affected by it don't follow it.

Yah I've had a shit night But i hav never made less than 500.00 in a 7-8 hour period. I don't know if it's just that I really know who to talk to them or what but thats what i make. At the other club it's really slow with not so mmany girls and I've only made like 350.00 there before in 6 hours but that was with like 6-7 customers all night

Vegas is overrated and my experiences also range from fucking great to horrible. Personally, I think your expectations of 2k every time you work are a bit out there, esp since it will be your first time. On a Thursday - Saturday working there, I find I usually have one really great night and 2 average nights. I would stay where you are. Keep in mind in Vegas, you'll have travel expenses to cover and you burn out a lot quicker, esp if you are planning to work double shifts.

That said, I think most all dancers should at least try Vegas a few times for the experience. I don't really like working there anymore, it's too stressful and I don't really need the money. I am glad I had the experience and proved to myself I could make bank there. But I also had shitty nights with no vips or really drunk assholes who offended me more than anyone in my life. So I think it all balances out. I had a lot of fun, but now I'll only work one night if I'm going out there to party. An entire trip dedicated to working is not worth it anymore.

couturechick, if the worst night you've had in notquite a year of dancing is 350 in 6 hours on a night when there were a total of 6 customers all night, there is zip, zero, zilch reason to bother going to vegas. based on the numbers you're claiming, you have done better than pretty much every dancer on this site who's posted 'worst night' numbers. you already make vegas money and you want to incur even greater travel expenses?

also, you have noted that you are a bigger dancer, which would make it quite difficult to get hired in many of the larger vegas clubs.

you pretty much have every dancer's dream scenario-- anytime you work, you will make piles of money and do so consistently. can't imagine why anyone would risk that to go to vegas and potentially lose money for the first time in their dancing career.

If you're going to Vegas anyway, for a fun vacation, might as well get hired somewhere and work a couple nights to see what it's like. I would never go to any city to dance and RELY on making a certain amount of money. I'm hoping to visit Indianapolis soon to check out the clubs, but I'll be bringing enough money to cover all my expenses. There's no harm in going and seeing what it's like. If you don't make any money, you can just come back and work 2 extra nights and make back that 1,500 you just spent on a little vacation.
