just going off what i was told though no one inforced the two inches for hair
oasis allows floorwork so does pink pony fact all of them exept mardi gra i worked at allows floor work exept when nude

Is that just because of floor-vaginal contact?

im assuming so
also several clubs inforce no bending when nude or legs wider then shoulder length

God, this is weirder than Phoenix. I'm guessing because their alcohol involved.
It seems really backwards.
How're the cops? Frequent raids or only during reelection campaigns?
And how on earth can their be extras at no contact clubs? I mean, just how extra are these extras?
And despite all of these anal retentive rules, girls make money?
Fulton County law set the pubic hair regulations.
Clairmont is a dive. Dancers perform behind the bar and may or may not undress, depending on each individual's mood. Most of them are older. All are overweight. Despite this, it does great business and is Atlanta's oldest darling. The classic stripper type (young, in shape, big boobs) would not do well here. The bar is more about the basement atmo than a high baller fantasy.

honestly i never saw a raid the whole 3 years i danced there but yes money can be made mostly because of the VIP rooms. lately though my friends are telling me its real bad the worst summer yet but back when it was good i could clear a good 400-600 dollar night as an average

I guess that I should stop beating around the bush and just come out with it.
I'm working right now as a tutor at my school - clearing just over $100 every two weeks. I don't get paid over the summer.
I have enough money left over to buy a new pair of shoes (all my pairs are broken)and maybe scrounge up an outfit, but I can't afford a license.
I don't think that I can work at Mardi Gras - I cannot do pole tricks, and it sounds like that's all you can do.
I was a pretty clean dancer, but not by the rules out here. At the same time though, its not like I was working at clubs with alot of extras in AZ. Not like Magic City or anything.
So I guess I'm really wondering what, based on that, I can do.
Any advice would be appreciated.
I've been dancing for years and still won't touch the pole. In fact, I can't dance worth shit. I work at the Pony. Never been a problem.
If you can get hired at the Pony or Cheetah, go for it. I'm a little reluctant to recommend Oasis right now because one of the Barbie Bandits works there now. Remember those two idiot strippers who robbed a bank while giggling in plain view of a camera? Those are the Barbie Bandits. They attract police.

how did they not end up in jail?

Is pink pony a gown club?
sorry - just full of questions today![]()

it's pretty interesting that in a city with strict license requirements, they'd be allowed to retain their license and continue earning money. not to mention the galling fact of their being released on bond and also being charged with theft rather than robbery.

well for outfits i can put you in contact with friend of mine who has all m stripper clothes you can have a few out of that as for shoes/heals i might be able to score a pair for you (thongs you'll have to score yourself)
the permit part you might have to work at one of the not so reputible clubs brief enough to get the money for the permit or try mardi gra till you get the money for the permit if i had spare money i would so help cuz ive been there

I heard that in Fulton Co. you can go down to City Hall East (on Ponce) and pay $50.. they give you a receipt and you take that to the club.. it gives you a week to come up with the rest of the money for the license and when you go in you give them the rest of the money and they print up permit.

Women of color:
Shake your ass and preserve your heritage.
Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time. (bad-dominicana)
It is illegal to work without a permit. Any club that allows otherwise is shady. $50 is paid when you apply. $350 is paid when you pick up your license the next day. The total cost is $400.
They haven't been convicted yet. Once they are, they can't strip.![]()

Woah - I completely didn't mean to offend anyone with the Magic City bit.
I just know that when I went there as a customer I saw alot of two-way contact - which is not something that I felt comfortable with. I guess that I consider that to be an extra.
I'm not calling anyone a whore or dirty dancer or anything - it was just beyond my comfort level.
So seriously, don't be offended. Completely didn't mean to step on toes.

well to help clear it up for you hon
extras= prostituton or something real close to it
high contact= what you saw duel action or serious grinding
light contact= usualy one way action or contact coming from the girl (not always meaning explsit contact either could just mean shoulder touching ect..)
no contact= self explanitory air dancing
most atlanta clubs are light contact or no contact and extras USUALLY only happen in VIP or after club hours in not so good clubs

Thanks. I really didn't mean to imply that girls were turning tricks.
And it very well may have been just the girls that were close enough to me - both seemed kinda like newbies.
So sorry!!!

10 dollar dances? How do you make good money in Atlanta?

I believe the pubic hair thing is a local law, not just a stripclub rule. It doesn't have to be specifically a landing strip, it can be however you like, as long as there's some hair there. Some girls do shave almost entirely and then darken it with eyeliner.
Seems like most clubs have a 3song standard set on stage.
At the upscale places, NO floorwork once you're naked. I mean NONE. You can do it when dressed or topless, but not naked. Also, no bending over more than 90 degrees when naked, no spreading legs, and must keep feet on the floor when naked. Basically, you can take your panties off, but you can't really show the pussy.
The rules sound strict and everything, but they're not 100% enforced at all the clubs. I was reading over the rules list at my club the other day and I'm thinking..."Wow, that's a rule?". Like the rule that says we can't bend over past 90 degrees...that is not even enforced. It's not as uptight in Atl as it sounds.
And as for the "how do you make money from 10$ table dances" question...Most of our money in Atl is made through VIP rooms (at my club anyway). And they're not hard to get.
I think the pubic hair thing is a county law. But I could be wrong.
People make it sound like Atlanta is the worst city to dance in because of the permit thing and the weird rules, but it's not bad. I make very good money and I've never had any kind of problem with raids or getting in trouble for breaking rules or anything.
