Depends on how bad they are. I have the white ones from growing on my handles. I don't care at all....its cellulite I care about.

in a twisted way, i'm really proud of mine - they look like hell (i have them pretty much everywhere) but i know that i have them because i'm not obese anymore... sometimes i get frustrated with them, but i always remind myself that if i didn't have them, it would be because i still weighed over 200 pounds

I only have a couple on my thighs. you cant even really seem them but i show those bad boys with pride. ha!
I show them off with pride.
Very few women don't have stretch marks. They are a sign that you became a woman (and for some, a mom).
Although, I've yet to meet a guy who even cares about the stretch marks. It must be my stellar personality outshinging everything else...either that, or my boobs. bwahahahahaha
Don't worry about them. If you don't worry abou them, neither will anyone else. If they do worry about them, then they're not worthy to have around.
Meh, its the beach, you're there to have fun and relax! If they make you uncomfortable, wear a bathing suit that covers them up.

I have more than a few and could give a shit less if someone can see them.
It's all part of being female.
^Ditto, Just got back from the beach (which was incredible by the way) and I could care less about my stretch marks there. I slapped on the bikini and hit the waves!
i have them pretty bad from getting prego young and being a twig then going on bed rest and gaining over 80lbs.. my poor skin
but im really self conscious about them but i think its just my view.. i remember my son's dad had them so bad on his biceps and was talking about getting surgery and all and i used to think he was totallly overreacting
like who cares i didnt even notice them just noticed his nice big bulging muscles.. so i think its the same way with me.. if the stretch marks were on a bunch of blubber /cellulite then maybe i should worry but as long as they are on a toned body that is what people see the body not the stretch marks

I think my problem is that I dont see anyone elses stretch marks as being ugly except my own.My bf also has stretch marks on his arms, but his arms are sexy as hell.I have tons of marks on my ass, which is in pretty good shape, but i cant make myself wear a bikini.I also have some marks on my breast, so its shorts and a tank for me at the beach.![]()
Mommy badges! Ok, so I have them and am not a mom.
I can recommend using plenty of sun screen because scar tissue doesn't produce melanin, the pigment that gives you a natural tan. If you do get a tan, the difference between your natural skin color and the stretch marks will be more striking.
And maybe your boyfriend thinks that even though you have stretch marks on your body, those parts of your body are sexy as hell.![]()
Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.
Show 'em with pride! They aren't stretchmarks, they're tiger stripes.

^Ahaha tiger stripes! I like that.
I'm using the Palmer's cocoa stuff and they are fading fast. It's only been 3 days too. I've read Vaseline intensive care with cocoa butter works well too.
I find that internal supplements really help though, like fish oil and tons of water. I suppose you can take vit E internally as well, and things like tonalin.
