I'm probably going to come off as self-centered and egotistical in this thread, but oh well.
What do you do when you feel like you are the only competant person at your club? There are a couple of other dancers who do work hard and make money, but besides a group of maybe 7 girls, no one has a clue wtf they are doing, how to make money, or how to perform their jobs.
Our DJ decided tonight that he wanted to handicap tomorrow's horse races while DJing. Every song was playing to at least 4 minutes.
It was a slow night, but 2 guys had just taken out 500 in fantasy money and I was sitting with them. Another dancer was talking to one of the customers who had just gotten divorced. She commiserated with him and let him wallow in his self pity for about half an hour until he started crying and had to go outside. He got himself into such a mood where he just wanted to find a girl who looked like his ex-wife to take home and fuck. He offered most of the girls 1,000 for this. How do you let a customer get to this state, seriously? Why are you letting him BS and sob for that long without saying, "Hey, let's forget this, have a drink, and I'll dance for you!" Learn how to do your job! These guys ended up leaving having barely spent any of the fantasy because this girl has no idea how to cheer up a customer.
All night long, I looked around and saw ass cracks hanging out. I don't know how it is at other topless clubs, but we are not allowed to have our crack showing. I had a customer tell me to pull my thong down because "Samantha does it". I said, yeah I know, and I think it looks trashy.
Drink monster girl came over to a customer I was sitting with on two different occasions, pretending she couldn't talk because her throat was so dry because she needed a drink. You'd think after drinking all that alcohol her breath wouldn't smell so bad anymore, but it doesn't work.
I saw girls trying to sell our tshirt feature by hitting guys in the face with the shirt. I know a lot of customers are jerks, but I don't think hitting them with the merchandise is helping business.
I went to trade in some fantasy money at the bar. I gave the bartender 100, which means I get 90 in cash. She hands me 81 dollars. I say, hey I gave you 100 right? She realizes what she did, yet has to ask the other bartender how to fix the issue. She's been bartending there probably for a year and a half.
During walk-out our floor guy had to stop a girl from getting into a customer's car. We all were pretty sure she was a prostitute, but now it's confirmed. B**ch, stand on the street corner! Don't sell it in my club.
Usually I blow it all off because I make money and I don't care, but I feel like the club would make 10x as much money and the girls would as well, if they could all just perform the basic functions of their job. I know I'll chill out when I go in next week and make money, but god it's so exhausting.
