Default Question for thos with VCH piercings...

Okay, so less than an hour ago, I finally did it! Went and got a VCH!! Nobody on here lied, it's super sharp intense pain for about 3 to 4 seconds and thats it. Now all it feels like is someone pinched it really hard a little while ago and it's the sensation after that, which is completely doable. I can walk I can move, etc, no big deal.

Since none of you led me wrong on the pain factor of it all, now I have questions for you....lol. I've got my antibacterial soap, etc, all ready for the care of it. It bleed a little bit when I got it and when I first came home and removed the gauze there was still just a little blood seaping out the bottom of it. But just a little bit and it's pretty thick already so it's clotting fine I think. So I guess my questions are, how long will it be before I can actually move it and it not cause bleeding or anything? Everyone said within 3 to 4 days it was pretty much healed, so I'm really hoping your right...lol. Also, what a question... did it hurt the first time you went to the bathroom after you got it? Is it gonna sting? I mean the clit itself isn't pierced but the hood above it is so it's still gonna get on it...lol. I went to the bathroom before I left to go get it done and I probably wont have to go for another few hours but I was wondering about that. Any tips or words of advice from those of you who have had this done that will help me in the healing process to assure all goes well? I'd appreciate any you have to give. Also, how long did you have to wait before you could change the jewelry out and how difficult is it going to be the first time I try to remove it and put another one in? LOL!! Yep, I've got lots of questions....lol!!

And as for the stats, it's vertical hood with a 14 gage ring. I went with the ring instead of the barbell for now because I have a short hood as it is and I'll keep the ring in till it's healed before I move on to a barbell later down the road.

Another question... which has been the most comfortable for you personally? Ring, barbell or curved barbell?

I have the vertical hood barbell. I don't know why, but I've had my peircing for almost a month and it's still not healed all the way. But my body heals slowly anyway, so that might be it.
No, it won't interfere with you going to the bathroom since your hood isn't really close to where you piss from. Just be careful not to snag it on anything.
Just make sure you wash it with the soap daily and it should be good.

    Yay VCH!!!

I prefer a short curved barbell with a big fat ball on the bottom. I have a short hood too, so I have to get short barbells in order for the ball to rest on my clit and work its magic. I ordered mine custom from Painfulpleasures.com.

Make sure to be careful washing with the soap. I did that and got a mad yeast infection, I suppose the soap was too harsh and I did use an antibacterial. Personally I was able to move my jewelry with no bleeding the same night I got it. Everyone's different. I changed my original jewelry out after 4 weeks, against the recommendation of my piercer, but I healed without a problem.

Congrats on your new friend...I mean piercing! I hope the two of you have a long and wonderful relationship.

PS: if you switch to a barbell, make sure when you wipe after peeing not to catch the jewelry with the t.p. Ouch!!! Other than that, no worries--your urine is not pathogenic to the piercing.

Yes, DO be careful with the soap. I also got an evil yeast infection, but the piercing healed super quick. I'd say it was completely healed within a week. I was also very dutiful about safe sex while it was healing...no direct oral!

That's another point...urine is basically sterile. It's not going to make anything worse. Depending on your individual anatomy, you may find that drinking more water the first couple days will keep the concentration of your urine weaker, so it will sting less. And yeah, be careful with the tp!

I have a curved barbell and it's quite comfortable. I had a ring in initially, but it was kinda funny feeling when I sat down...I was working another job where I had to get up and down all day, and it simply wasn't ladylike to be adjusting all day...lol!

I preferred a curved barbell. They pierced me with and put a ring in and then I went back three weeks later and they changed it to a curved. It was almost three months before I would change it myself cause I was too scared.

Don't worry about peeing. You'll be fine. As someone above said- just be carful not to snag it.

Also- it was really uncomfortable for me to wear jeans for the first week and half or so. Stick to skirts or dresses for a bit.

Also- be careful if you run. I was training for a marathon and ended up having to take my ring out because after mile 7 or 8 I would orgasm. That was a little over a year after piercing.

mine healed in a week, im not even kidding. just use regular soap int he shower, no need to irritate your vag.

mine was just pretty it never got me off after the first week.

even if you do get pee on it, your own urin is sterile to your own body, it wouldnt harm it.

I had to wash mine with antibacterial soap every morning and evening before I went to bed. If I didn't wash it twice a day, it would get unbearably itchy. It stopped doing that after a few weeks..I'm probably a slow healer.

Do NOT use antibacterial soap. Thats the biggest no-no for a body piercing. Seasalt soaks or your own urine are the best for healing a VCH I've had mine for about a year, least painful of the piercings I've gotten. I found that leaving it alone(no playing with it excessively), and gently cleansing with sea salt soaks(1/4tsp seasalt, 1cup of sterlized warm water in either a disposable cup or gauze soaked in it, pressed gently against the piercing for 15 minutes works great!) speeds up healing incredibly! Barbells work great for me... and I healed in about a week. No longer than week though. Yay on the VCH

Thanks for all the tips ladies! It's been 9 days now and it's doing great. I did the seasalt soaks for the first week, now I just clean it when I take my shower in the evening. I did do the antibacterial for the first few days, only because thats what I was told to do by the shop. Not dousing it or anything like that, just filling a cup up with some of the soap with water and using a qtip to clean in and around it and the ring itself. It seemed to help alot in the first few days. I don't even notice it there now and yes I am careful when I wipe, thats the one time I think about it in the course of a day.....lol.

How long did you all wait before you put in different jewelry, and how difficult is it to do the first time you do it yourself verses going back to the shop and having them do it for you the first time or two?

How many of yiu experienced easier orgasms because of the peircing? I've heard that it helps a lot, but I've also heard it does nothing. I'm sorta getting the idea that a curved barbell is the best, is that right?

It definitely helps me orgasm. I have a curved barbell that I special ordered so it is small enough to rest on the right spot, and has a large 8mm ball on the bottom. It does the trick for me.
