    Default Question..

I'm looking to replace my entire modeling makeup kit .. done some research, I can't find anything packaged all together that I need. Like face primer, de-shine gel and the like. Of course they all come with the usual stuff, foundation, eyeshadow, brushes and so forth.

If I'm going to spend the money, I want to get it all in one whack..
    Suggestions?

This kit has gotten a lot of love on Specktra and other makeup forums. I'm kind of against buying an entire kit from one company, tho. Why don't you get your discount at MAC and MUFE and buy the products you want individually?

Kryolan and Ben Nye also make great professional products.

Mac is good, I love their shadows - foundation is WAY to slick for my skin when I have to work out of doors with pictures and so forth. Even when I use a de-shine/grease product before I apply the foundation.. sucks.

Also I don't have a lot of time to spend shopping for individual things, getting everything I need packaged all together in one lump saves me time and TONS of effort. I know it's a small thing but anything that saves time for me is a godsend.

Thanks for the link, that is exactly what I am looking for. Shame the softside case is out of stock! Poopie.

Yeah MAC foundation sucks. MUFE face and body is great for photos and everyday. Love it! It was recommended to me by another SW'er, I should go review it in the foundation thread.

MAC foundations aren't even used in most "MAC approved" schools from my research. They seem to use Kryolan but MAC for everything else. The only MAC thats in my kit is the Iridescent Powder.

Its impossible that just one brand has absolutely everything under the roof perfected. Camera Ready Cosmetics is a pretty awesome site though.

I found this product review site: http://madenyc.com/artistchoice.html I actually think hes pretty damn accurate. A lot of those products are what I use already.

So if you are just buying a personal kit I wouldn't think you would need all of the additional skin colours that don't match you. You could probably just use Sephora's site to quickly buy it all and end up with less cost that way. MUFE has a lot (and i mean a LOT) of pallets that would make colour selection easy.

If you are going all out: http://shop.fredsegalbeauty.com/Fred...-P689C144.aspx
But I find that price to be a bit $$$ and it doesn't have enough blushes or eyeshadows for me.

I like to have the different foundation colors because I tan, so after several sessions in the tanning bed.. my skin is a different color! Plus, since I started doing photos for pay I am seriously anal about matching the tone of my skin exactly. That old lady line at my chin is just not going to cut it and your right, a little to rich for my blood too

I keep thinking you're saying MUFF and that I need to have my face and body in one... and that sounds good.

You can turn in the application at your local MAC store or mail it in yourself to the Corporite office.
