    Default Eczema/dermatitis

So I'm sure that people have posted about eczema before, but this is a little different. I believe I have a type of eczema which is aggrivated by stress and contact with things you are allergic to. It's called dyshidrotic eczema. I already know that I am allergic to nickle (tried to wear a ring made of white gold) and I'm wondering if maybe I am allergic to whatever metal our pole is made out of.

Has anyone here ever gotten a rash from the pole? I spray it with alcohol every time I go on stage, so I know I didn't catch something. I've also had this type of eczema on and off since I was 18, before I started dancing. I'm wondering if I might be irritating it by rubbing my skin on the pole. The rash shows up a lot more if I work a lot, which might be due to the stress of working, or the pole, or both.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Yeah, I'm totally having the same problem right now. I've been at this new club on and off of about two months now, and I've developed this nasty rash on my breasts. I self-diagnosed myself with having Invertigo (a fungal infection), cuz it seems to be aggravated by my bra. Essentially, it's like a yeast infection that can occur in the folds of your skin. You can get rid of it by taking AZO or using yeast infection cream.... I'm having such a bitch of a time getting rid of it though. It will start to go away when I don't dance for a few days, and then come back my first day back.
And I've never had it at any of the other 3 or four clubs I've worked at. So yeah, I dunno if that helps, but I share your pain. Yeast infection cream is a temporary solution it seems... i mean, this was posted two years ago, so um, how did you get rid of it?
