ok, bought some organic expellar extra virgin coconut oil...now what?

i'll start with, i hate coconut, but i'm willing to down it if all the health benefits are true. but i need to know what to do with it...mainly internally.

i know many of you use it, what do you do? i just put a couple of tablespoons in a big smoothie i just made. i can taste it, but it's not bad.

    what else can i do?

I put a big tablespoon in my oatmeal and I don't taste it at all, but I also have other more flavourful stuff in there.

If you spread some on your toast and add a sprinkle of salt, it tastes better than butter. I fry fish in it, too---gives a very nice flavour. Also, pour some over microwaved popcorn. You can also buy it is capsules, too--I take the capsules on the days where I don't eat it.

It's one of the best oils to cook with. Palm is another good one.

It's best because it remains stable under high heat. I didn't learn this until a few years ago -- Olive oil isn't as healthy when it's cooked. It's cold-pressed for a reason. It's kind of like it's chemical makeup changes. I'm sorry, I forgot the details.

Main thing I remember is, if you're going to cook with oil use Coconut or Red Palm.

yea, i wish i knew that about olive oil a long time ago. i started using it to cook instead of regular veg oil. i'll definatly use coconut oil to cook from now on.

i'll have to try it in my oatmeal. i'm not sure about toast though, i'm picky about my butter taste! lol and anything i can do to hide the coconut taste would be best.
