How many calories should one be looking to burn in 40 min cardio session? That's what I've done the last couple of days, but tonight I managed to do an hour...because I'm new to this whole workout thing, I'm not sure what my goal on calories burned each session should be? Thanks for any input...

I'm trying to lose the last of my baby weight! Which is mainly in my butt & thighs!!!
Just start out slowly and for shorter periods of time and increase speed & time when your lungs don't feel like they're forcing their way out your throat lol. Also, the "just 2 more minutes" thing really does work. If you can force yourself to stay on for x amount of time or x amount of calories, once you're done you'll feel really good
